Several of these trailers were sent to the homeless shelter in Laguna Beach on Laguna Canyon Road. I hope they are being used. Many of the homeless down there are harassed and ticketed for not finding shelter at night.

One important issue is that some homeless people that are on the street choose to be in that situation because they don’t like to go to the shelter. Reason is they don’t like to follow the rules on the shelter . They rather be outside. I know that for experienced I was homeless for 5 years I understand their Situation .

Trailers are not the answer, it is an incredibly stupid idea that could have only happened in government. You need infrastructure around them starting with a place to park them, people to clean them, people to repair them, security for the occupants and for those around them, food, water, soap, laundry facilities and the list goes on. Providing the campers is a classic California "feel good" gesture, one that does no good as seen here. They should have gone to homeless support groups from the start, what did they think they would do, just park trailers all over the city and be done with it?
