Be EXCITED about this one people!!! Immediately I got an average of 2.5 degrees off of all my wedges and irons…and an impressive amount of hook spin off my shots. So thankful for this lesson Eric and Steve!

Yes indeed! Great video as always, the right wrist bend was a great 'feel' for me, and something I could find regularly when I get a bit off on the course. The nice thing is, for me at least, when you can feel that right wrist bend, it almost promotes the elbows together at the same time. Really good video!!

As always another great vid Eric! I find the advice on trail elbow very useful but have been doing something a little different with the lead elbow after watching one of Bryson's vids. At address he internally rotates the lead upper arm so that the elbow points to target while externally rotating the left hand to grip club. This essentially locks out the lead arm eliminating the pull hook shot. Very much like one of your earlier guest instructors says keeping the lead arm on top through impact and release.

Hey Matthew! Yes that's ONE way to do it to AVOID left misses for sure Here is more on the lead shoulder/arm in swing as it relates kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJ29o5yLpbVqhNU

I'm a big believer in maintaining elbow distance / width from setup to throughout the swing. Like you guy mentioned it puts the hands in a good position, it gives good structure and positions throughout the swing, and it adds consistency from one swing to the next. I also like that it keeps the hands and arms in front of the chest throughout the swing, reduces the chances of over swinging, and gives the arms and hands an easy route back under the shoulders, and the club to the ball. The one thing that makes me cringe in that video is Steve's rounded turtle shell back at address!

Haha thanks for the feedback! Many of the greatest ball strikers of all time very rounded over like that :)

Hold that angle thru impact and rear shoulder in, down and under to follow thru. Every club...chipping too.

This is such an awesome video. I have always tried to figure out how to get that shaft lean at impact as good as he does.

Great video. A lot of detail. Reminds me of Ben Hogan's" 5 Fundamentals of Golf". I get confused on the orientation of the lead elbow at set up - toward the lead hip or more toward the target line, then during the swing? During the downswing it looks like the elbow is facing the target line at "club parallel". This might be a good subject in one of your future videos.

Hey Ken! Where it starts at setup depends some on grip strength (position) and then lead shoulder rotation of course (external vs internal) Here is one on the backswing where the elbow points: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIOyfHSCh5arqLc Here is the downswing where the elbow points: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4eqY3h3obidibc kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIi7mpSbopVsedE
