Can you help me? My tdi burned the light switch the oem one.. after replace with aftermarket one lasted 1month.. everything works but not the low beams or high.. only high when pull the flash high beams ... So the switch is not passing current to the headlight wire now.. so i jumped it ans the headlights o low beam pulling 7.8 amps and the low abd high 12amps total of 3amps for 4 H1 lights... dont know why it burned... but the wire that goes to the headlights on the terminal that connects to the switch peeled the "skin" of it... strange...

2010? With a med 17.5 .. are you sure it's not a Mk6 golf Mk5 GTi most likely uses med 9.1.5

I believe the immo on this one is stored in the MCU... the MCU is not easy to swap, but possible... You better clone it, with k-tag or similar, or immo off, but either way you need the read and writing tool... 👍👍👍

What do you mean? Are you powering k-tag externally? You need a least a 2 amp power supply to k-tag... otherwise can give you issues... 👍👍👍

Some vag cars the ecu in under the windshield... right at the bottom... on the opposite side of the wipers motor... 👍👍👍

Great video....but 16 MPG!!!!! Wow Just one thing about sealing ECUs would you be better using non corrosive sealer as RTV gives off acid while curing which could damage the board inside.....just a thought my friend

Hello LM Auto Repairs I watch your video, you are doing an excellent job .. I have some questions about the cable because I also have Ktag SV 2.25 HW 7.020..but in the instruction where you have to connect the pins of your video I see that your cable has 3 red pins .. which means in the instruction it shows me (PIN 5,87,92) - (COLOR red and orange) - (DESRITPION + 12V) while in the picture these three pins show me red .. now on my cable, I have only 2 red pins and you in the video have 3 red pins. .now I do not know which pin should be orange and which pin should be red these two pins have a smaller head as I see the instruction..please help me with this because I am a beginner and I want to learn a little from .. thank you very much for your videos .. respects

Just because you have a snap on tool chest full of snap on tools does not mean you know how to use them... Ktag/Kess is just a tool. Makes no difference if its genuine or clone. Any ecu tool will write whatever you tell it to write. Ive done this for nearly 28 years. The people like you that always undercut prices keep me in work correcting bricked vehicles, or vehicles that run like a bag of shit after a tune. And how do you know i use clone tools? You have never seen my workshop. Good luck with your business and stay safe.
