I just watched all 3 videos. I'm 71 been playing since I was a teenager and have had lots of private lessons, but I have never heard this information and it has been so helpful!! I watch a lot of KZbin videos on golf, this is the best and most important series I have ever seen!! I look forward to joining your program to get even more great info. I'm in a big playoff match this week and I get really nervous and it affects my play a lot. I play great all year and when I get in a playoff match that is win or go home, I'm a completely different player so much so people comment on what's wrong. It is very frustrating and embarrassing. I will implement this in my match this week and let you know how I do, I think it will help my nerves a lot.

Hi Rich Without doubt the most rewarding aspect of this unexpected You Tube Journey has been the reaction to my Psychology Videos. To see so many people improve their enjoyment of the game has been amazing. Thanks for taking time to comment and yes you can join the channel for extra psychology advice if that is of interest. Think there are about 6 videos there waiting to be watched now. kzbin.info/aero/UUMOhAPDZUTeiXFqjsxaD1vKWw

Great thanks heaps for these videos. I'm 65 and 9 handicap, ( was 36 ,2 years ago). Anyway, I have now started playing competitions and my scores are terrible compared with the hundreds of balls I hit at the range. Real ' mental stuff' going on ATM, so I am very grateful for these. I realise the range is like punching a bag, but competition golf is like being in the ring with Tyson! Thanks again, Brendon

Hi, I been playing for 5.5 years and now a 15 handicap. I totally understand the 3 videos as I am a pilot and learning to teach pilots. Mental approach to anything is key to success. To be honest yesterday I was playing with a close friend and we were laughing and enjoying ourselves and OMG I hit some fantastic golf shots on a course I don't like. One of my best shots was a 205 yard shot to the centre of a green on a Par3 and I hit the flag and it went into the sand. I just got my 60 degree wedge and came out for 1 and 2 putt for bogie. We anilised the hole and move right onto the next laughing. Boom next was a Par 5 and I made Par. On the last hole a Par 4 I hit the driver, then we started to laugh about a joke and then I took my 3 iron and blaster it on the green. As you said free up the mind and the results willlllllllllll happen. Tomorrow I have a pilot golf competition and will try out your competition routine. Thanks for the videos and yes I've subscribed. Best wishes Cordell

Just played in the club championship where I’m a member. I’m an 11, and have the ability to hit some great shots. But, playing in competition exposed the weakness of my mental game. I play quickly when I play- often during the week and less than 3 hours for sure. Tournament rounds took close to 5 hours and challenged me more than I anticipated. My game is often related to pace and I definitely want a specific outcome… without a consistent process I came undone both days. These videos were great!

" there are 2 golfers in all of us.... one who KNOWS how to play golf..... and one who THINK they know how to play golf , . the problem is that the one who THINKS they know how to play golf is usually in charge, while the one who ACTUALLY KNOWS how to play golf tends to get ignored " .

Hi there. I am totally an "outcome" golfer. A real emotional roller coaster. I've got the swing of a 0 handicap, and the mental game of a 30 lol I watched all 3 of your videos, and can't wait to try on the course. I am 46, and hoping to be a scratch golfer by then. I will "commit" to the process. And care less about the outcome. Thanks so much.

Sent these to a friend that struggles with... Himself. As I always say "learn you". Only then can you become a better golfer. Started doing this years ago before I watched these. I rarely practice... Like driving range practice. I chip a good bit and lag putt. If I struggled with one club, I think on it before wasting time hitting it. In the past 3 years I can count on one hand the number of times I shot out of the 70s and most of them have been in the 60s 😉. Free that mind up. Have fun. This game is about fun not frustration.

I think this is what I've been longing for, but never realised...we all say things like "it's not a ball game, it's a head game", but then do nothing about it, other than change our golf swing, change our putting technique, or even change our clubs! Why not change our mindset, and instead of talking about it, address it, and do something about it. I love the simplicity of this information, because it makes it easy to remember, and therefore, take it onto the golf course with you. Thankyou so much, this could be a game changer...I can't wait to get back out there! Brilliant.

Good series. Right to be proud of this sort of content. Sadly, most golfers are shallow and most interested in hitting long with every club and little else. Little wonder handicaps have stagnated for decades despite all these technology advances. Clubs manufactured today have generally never had longer shafts and stronger lofts. All just to sell distance. To escape from those chains is to elevate as a golfer. Keep it up!

Another excellent video! You’ve been playing since your teens and I learned at 38 years old. Now at 66, I want to go from a 9 handicap to as low as I can. It’s my mind and your tips that will get me to my goal. These videos are so helpful. Thank you from Nantasket Beach, Massachusetts 🏌️‍♂️🙌

watched all 3 parts- super useful for me! Crazy thing is it works. Part of the process of doing what you said (for me) is it free's my mind from thinking of other non-constructive things and forces me to commit to a process that is centered on consitentcy vs disorganized/distracted thinking.

Your 3 videos have probably been the best golf videos I have ever seen, and I’ve seen heaps. I’m 66 and I can’t believe how anxious and stressed I get playing a midweek comp. It starts the night before when I start rehearsing the round and invariably toss and turn all night. Thanks for your videos!

Very good advice and tips for more success and contentment on the golf course. I believe it was Ben Hogan who said, 70% of the game is in the head. So it makes sense to work on this aspect of golf besides hitting balls in the practice area. Thank you very much.

Very sage advice from start to finish! Let’s face it, an overwhelming majority of club golfers don’t, and won’t put in the practice and physical learning time and expense to improve. By using what we can learn for free from this series we can all become better golfers, and we will enjoy the game more with our mates. Thanks!

My biggest struggle in golf is managing my expectations. I put so much pressure on myself on shooting a low score and I know how much bad golf shots impact my mindset. I am going to focus on not having expectations, pre shot routine, caring less, and just focusing on the things I can control. Thanks for the video.

You got it all worked out there, be patient as it takes time to change your mindset. We're all going to hit bad shots in a round so just accept that and be content that you are doing everything in your control to hit the best shot you can one at a time. Thanks for taking the time to comment 👍

@@ScratchAt50 I have played 3 rounds since watching your video. This is my 8th year playing golf and I can tell you that I have been able to control my emotions, I let go of the bad shots, sticking to the same routine, and overall just having a much better time on the course. Shots are becoming more consistent and not getting frustrated.

These are probably the most useful tips you can get for golf. Having had a a dip in my playing performance I’ve been hooked on technique and searching for the perfect swing, absolutely hopeless. I’m tight, emotional and stuck inside my head. I’ve forgotten how to play golf and allowing myself to swing and instead have tried to be a robot. My head is full of thoughts and I’ve stopped playing the game. I’ll listen to this advice and allow myself to stick to my focus of a good setup a clear mind with good visualisation and most importantly accepting the outcome. Highly recommend this series, thank you.

Really appreciate the comment Jeff. Yes the caring less quote is incredible. It's our fear of where the ball might go (outcome) that makes us tight. Just free up that swing and accept the bad shots that we all get 👍
