That’s the problem when u got someone telling u where to hit it u lose all concentration and not play your own game. It’s hard to place the ball exactly where they say

Unless you have a lot of experience caddying for a particular player, it's never a good idea to club someone. Yardage to FMB + slope/lie adds/subs, landing spots, driving lines, and reading putts... that's all they can really do. Several times they gave advice that actually resulted in a worse result as you tried to give it more or less on the shot, and it's only because they don't know your game, and your game wasn't consistent enough for them to predict what you'd do. It's a great illustration of the relationship between a caddie and player on tour and how well they know those players games.
