Never get tired of hearing Mike Austin's club whipping through and cracking that ball.

His swing is mesmerizing

Thanks. I never tried this. Snow will melt in a few days and I'll give it a go.

As a multi-sport athlete growing up, this concept has never quite landed until now. I’ve been trying to learn the game of golf over the last 15 years and couldn’t not understand the transfer of weight from one side to another. This video is my eureka moment. Thank you!!!

Dr Kwon has proved that this is the most efficient and powerful way to swing a golf club. He says trail hip goes back and up and then the lead hip goes back and up. Mr Austin figured this out without Trakman, force plates, super slow motion cameras, fancy software, etc. Pretty amazing when you think about it.

Tom, thanks for sharing that with all of us. It truly is amazing all of what Austin figured out on his own. He was said to have held a doctorate in kinesiology, but he pursued that after perfecting his swing theory. I think his interest in kinesiology was driven by a desire to better understand why the swing he developed was so efficient and effective. Once again, thank you for your contribution.

Does Dr Kwon teach Amy professionals ir long drive competitors? If so which ones? To make a claim of "the most efficient" there must be data/facts to support this.
@tomnelson85154 ай бұрын
@@jacobr4558 I suggest you take a look at Kwon's findings/data. Then you might be able to come up with a more efficient way to swing a club than Austin and Kwon found. And you can see the list of professionals that have worked with Dr Kwon. The list is too long to type here. The golf swing really is not rocket science. Only the golf industry wants people to think it is mystical. It is just physics.

In this model which plane of motion are the hips main source of power? Transverse/Frontal/Saggital
@yoursimplegolfswing4 ай бұрын
I couldn’t even begin to guess. I don’t even know what those terms mean. The hips are actually doing a compound motion in both the backswing and the swing. It’s a tilt and a turn. This compound action is unique to the swing and provides the power.
@jacobr45584 ай бұрын
@@yoursimplegolfswing ok so a tilt and a turn would be primarily transverse.
