I couldn’t hit a hybrid for the life of me. Really any club for that matter. After watching this one video, I made solid connection with EVERY club. My hybrid went laughably from 125 to 196.. Subscriber for life! THANK YOU.

That drill really put the prospective of lifting up and not coming in on the swing in the takeaway, which also allowed me to hit through the ball and not behind it thankyou Meegsy 🤗

Indeed, the most instructive tip I've seen (with deference). I'm built a little like a fire plug, and going flat was a problem when I played competitively. An old pro in Montreal had me relax the left arm and I played the best golf of my life. Then I lost it, and never found it again. You just described what was going on. ** My swing felt like it took forever! pk

I've helped a lot of people on the range this year and time index 10:12 to 10:19 is what I see ALL THE TIME and help them change - this then most often leads to the Left Cupping Wrist / Right Wrist into Flexion (search for leverage) which leads to the complete swing disaster which is 90% of what all Slicers do. Of all the videos I've seen on your Channel Eric, this completely captures what the biggest % of golfers do wrong and how most golfers can improve if they absorb what is being shown here. Bravo

If you have two Live View cameras, can you do front and side view of your swing at the same time on the same monitor? Also, can you record?

What about partial swings? If you don't get to the point where its up to the shoulders to turn further and complete the swing, can you still get down on a good path?
@CogornoGolf4 жыл бұрын
Yep
@EagleJim624 жыл бұрын
The idea of turning the belly button is key rather than turning the shoulders. It takes the tension out of my arms and shoulders allowingg my arms to swing instead of swing my arms across my chest. Great stuff. Thanks Coach!

This teaching, along with "load the right arm" seem to me to be important for added swing speed, whip, and solid contact. Thank you! The skill of swing whip is like a turbo to the golf swing! I hate that for decades this skill has been missing from my swing!

Great video. I’m somewhat confused with the arms going more up with the turn back. In the Closed Coil course Eric has the arms going deep. ???
@CogornoGolf4 жыл бұрын
Hey John! Yes... The arms need to go UP.....AND AND. The hands should go over the feet, right pec/bicep then over the shoulder from down the line. Jt is simply saying that the IN part should come MOSTLY from the turn. MOST golfers don't go IN enough....thats why I stress that. This video (along with several other of your videos) has helped me a lot. But I still have that bent left arm at the top and I tell myself that’s one reason for not striking the ball consistently. I’m 68yo and have a former fractured scapula. Any advice for those of us that have the bent left arm issue?
@CogornoGolf4 жыл бұрын
Hey Paul! I would need to see your swing on video to say for sure. May or may not be a problem. May be rooted in not enough body turn/extension (thats most common) Usually one will bend the arms to increase swing length because they don't get it from the other areas....have to find with area you are lacking.

I've noticed you recently changed your follow through on your right foot. It looks like you take a step through naturally with the swing. I struggle with posting consistently on my left leg and constantly worried of putting too much pressure on my left knee/leg long term. With this it feels more freeing and I am able to balance better. Is there any major flaws on this follow through?
@CogornoGolf4 жыл бұрын
Hey! I don't do that on purpose....have some issues with hip and lower back that leads to that. Would need to see your swing on video to offer any specific advice but in general I dont see issues with us

I would check body rotation first....do you have enough? Next, need to feel left humerus bone working around your body more in follow through....like a reverse pec dec Then just exaggeration and a stick in front kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn66omCNj7dgZs0
