Good lesson! I used to sway off the ball especially late in the round when I got tired. I now concentrate on keeping my weight to the inside of my back leg and turn against it. That helped me a lot.

The best thing for the amateur to help them make a decent strike on the golf ball (as they typically turns their shoulders too level in the downswing which usually causes a slice) is to follow your shoulder instruction for the trail shoulder as per Moe Norman and feel as though you are throwing a stone underhanded. Great stuff Martin. 👍

I started working on getting my right shoulder down through impact and noticed the ball goes alot higher. Now it makes sense! Need to start playing around with that more. Thanks y'all!

A lot of players control height with the finish, high finish high shot low finish low shot and even cutting off the finish waist high or so for a Tiger stinger with an iron.
