GOLFER FIXED HIS SLICE WITH NEW METHOD?

In this video I take on Mr Barlow over 4 hole, giving him 1 shot at the stunning Radyr Golf Club in Wales which is a parkland course. Mr Barlow thinks he's found the answer to fixing his SLICE golf swing using a new technique.

Once Mr Barlow gets use to the new stance, he'll be able to drop his club to the inside and his drives will get straighter and longer! I am a 6'6" version of Mr Barlow...and my Pro had me do the same thing 30 years ago! I was carry an 18 at the time, struggling to get my swing that I had in college, before my knee operations! Once I got used to having my right leg back, my slice straightened out, and I got my handicap down to single digits in about 7 or 8 months.

"BIMBO SLICE'S" IQ is the same as his handicap I think lol. I would love for him to fix that slice but it's the best feature on the channel, cracks me up. Get him to set up normally then move his left foot back 6 inches, not forward like he's been doing but I don't think anything will sort that out. Not even the 1068 lessons u've had Liam lol. Nice Course Radyr, we played them in our Junior League a couple of times. I remember Teeing off over the Hedge on one Hole and the 18th over the Brow is nice too. Always been a bit of a members Course, and not as welcoming as some of the Other ones in the area. As you have seen, we aren't short of a Course near Cardiff.

Mr B aka Heavy Ballesteros is actually getting far better chipping and with wedges. The technique is awful but he’s learned to make decent shots from bad technique. Cliff top courses on the yorkshire coast are superb mate. Go play Bridlington Links, Filey, Scarborough North Cliff and South Cliff, Flamborough amongst loads of other along that coastline......stunning!

For Mr. Barlow. Play the ball back off your right toe. Close your shoulders 10 degrees to the right. Keep you right foot pulled back as you are doing. Swing the club back low to 7 0'clock. Close the club face 2 degrees and swing to 1 o'clock. This way you are swinging in to out instead of out to in. With practice you will be straight to a little draw. It sounds crazy but you will hit high shots from a back ball position. If you get this message Good Luck.

In my opinion, slice not fixed,...worse yet, no even improved. Aft foot back is NOT the fix for a slice. Shoulders parallel to trajectory line is the fix. At address, Mr Barlow needs to align his feet, knees, hips and shoulders to the target and sit the club with his left hand only. Upon putting the lower hand on the grip, the shoulders tend to open to his left. To correct that he must lean aft no of degrees TBD by his bodu alignment. Thence he MUST stay there throughout the swing, AFter a good while to get used to this new feeling, he should add a tiny movement to swing inside to outside. Been there done that,...and it works: never hit it any straighter in my life. Watch as many You Tube videos of Mike Malassa as you can. He is very clear in his explanations...
