Calling this a misunderstanding does the law a disservice. The officer turning off their body camera and filing a false police report warrants dismissal. If there is no reprimand, its proof that the 'few bad apples' argument is a lie

I hate it when reporters and pundits say someone who got arrested went to prison. They went to jail. There's a huge difference. Jail is for those arrested that require housing prior to court. They haven't been convicted. Prison is only for those actually convicted of a crime. Just wish they'd get it right.
