Neither. I would probably recommend a gps watch. One that gives you yardages and can track your shots. That way you can get a real world idea of your distances.

Thanks! I,m a stable 22 hcp player. I can play well with all of my clubs 70% of the time. I can see now that I very often make bad decisions and choices. This gets even worse after the bad shots. Example: Long par 3s are the worst. Why try to hit a wood 200 yards and fail when I can hit a 7 iron short and try to chip it close? I never do that but I will start now. Thanks again! (Hopefully 18 hcp soon)

Had a big mouth co worker who bluntly told me. If you have a 36 hcp. You should not even be out here playing. My other co worker Bill made a statement. I will take Bill for 18 handicap against you. Since you are a 6 handicap. You play scratch. I will post 100 bucks on Bill. The big day arrived. Bill (My friend) said oh no Ed. I ride with you. Ted rides with Bill. Ted and I keep score. Bill told me. Tee off with your 7 wood. Today you use nothing but 7 wood, 8 iron and putter. GOT IT!!! I beat ED straight up without Handicap. Ed's 6 Hcp was with tons of Mulligans and foot shoves. I NEVER LOST A BALL that day. I was only 17 over par. 1 par, 1 BIRDIE. Lesson learned.

When’s the last time you went to the range and practiced just seeing how to make your clubs fly straight? Like if hitting full speed is giving you duffs, then what do you have to do to get it to fly? A half swing? A putter stroke? What does it take to get one to fly reasonably predictably?
