The Garrett carrot is much better than the original. I've had mine for about a month and I am really impressed with it. No more falsing....

I had the original propointer with the falsing problems, I replaced it with the Xpointer. Has the same feature set as the new propointer.. Doesn't false and works really well. £65. HH GL

Xpointer was a good pinpointer but it's not waterproof and issues with mfg we no longer have them..

Is it better than the black. Mine worked ok for a year, now once it pin points, it never shuts up until I shut if off. very unreliable when it goes off for no apparent reason and it pin points dirt

Yes.. The original had some mfg issues in the past year and a half... Nothing like that with the New Propointer AT...
