DEALING WITH ISOLATION - While non of us have had this exact experience previously, there are a few 'native' Texans that know what its like to be pretty much alone. West Texas isn't the worst for isolation because the social separation is geographic and the people are better able to deal with a life with 'FEW' neighbors. As a traveler... I've experienced the things I see in the video.. finding myself alone in a place far from family and other 'comforting' relationships. Once, not far from where you find yourselves, (in global terms) on a south pacific Atoll north of you but very much isolated as I worked for a some months. Keep up the videos, the experiences and above all, lessons learned from the very well organized and tight ship you keep. When the world emerges from this crisis, we will have new priorities. Having knowledge on how to cope will be valuable to all on social media and watchers of You Tube. A great talent with the camera and the presentations. Nice work folks.

We have a new sport in Australia called roll flogging. Where you run through supermarket car parks and attempt to steal someone's toilet paper from their trolley when they are packing their groceries in their car. The parents with children section is best, because they turn their backs while securing their child in the car seats. I'm actually not serious, they usually pack the rolls in then baby second. We do pick up bottles when kayaking and put them under the cargo net. Not in the creeks though, because of the hepatitis risk.

Fried plantains is my favorite, if you love garlic as i do " i chop 2 cloves of garlic, little salt to taste , pinch of crushed peperoncini half a cup of olive oil and if you like half a teaspoon of vinegar and let sit , do not put in fridge, this will ferment for 2 hours at least and the oil will need stirring prior to use. This makes a fabulous dip or just pour a teaspoon over the plantains.

First off, Happy Easter! Please y'all.. be Safe! We live in hurricane Central here on the Gulf Coast, when we got our alerts regarding the cyclone that hit down in the islands near you our first thought was of you two and the crew of expedition drenched. We know you both have been traveling in and out of these islands so prayers are with you all! Thank you for everything you do and thanks for the smiles! Peace be with you 😉💜

@@RogerWilco1 once, doctors wear a new pair for every patient. doctors change gloves all the time. wearing one pair all day does nothing as once you touch anything you need a new pair.

Alan Boulton thry make disposable gloves in 1,000 packs. You can discard them and replace them. I used 4 pair while cooking yesterday.

Brian nonsense, 15 seconds to swap gloves. 90 seconds to wash hands and most people do it poorly.
