Gonstead X-Ray Analysis

This video demonstrates the Gonstead X-ray Line Marking analysis we use for the pelvis. You'll notice that we are able to quantify leg length inequality (aka short legs). By the way, we can differentiate between measured and actual leg length. Additional views may be necessary when evaluating for leg length inequality including the "modified Ferguson view" as well as alternate mensuration methods like the Sacral Base unleveling (SBU) line demonstrated in the video. There are other methods. This video is not designed to teach people the intricacies of radiographic mensuration and analysis. The purpose is is to provide a brief overview of the kind of time and attention to detail every case deserves in uncovering the root cause.

They are still Beta testing the DICOM viewer/MedXT integration within the Box platform so it may not be available to all users just yet.
