Andrew has been an integral part of our hiking adventures and journey of life, it is with such sadness that we have lost such a wonderful companion who we have shared so much with and had planed to do so much more.
Andrew has featured in many of our hiking videos as well as our international video Provence.
Andrew, you will always continue to be by our side on our future walks, if not in the physical, but in Spirit. You will always be remembered through all the days of our life.
You might be gone, but not forgotten

Always sad to lose a great friend especially at such a relatively young age. I have been to far too many funerals lately to say a final farewell to some great friends. You obviously shared a great many great times and hopefully those memories will be with you for many years to come. When revisiting those places where we have shared happy times it is bitter/sweet to think back on those we have lost. Sadly such goodbyes come along more frequently as we age. It is though a moment to appreciate the shared experiences we have had and also to realise our own mortality and once more commit to enjoy every minute that we are granted to share with those we love. That is so true Robert and Ivor, Your words have been very comforting. Just gores to show how time is fleeting. We have to be ever so present and enjoy the moment. Our friends may be gone, but they are constantly in our presence. As we did a hike yesterday we remembered him and felt he was with us along the journey. I can hear his voice talking about plants and making jokes. Peter and I are certainly missing our walking companion. Thank you for your kind words. Joseph & Peter.

I spent my childhood there with my grandparents. We would have eventually talked about it. Another thing in common. I only knew him for a short time and he was a wonderful artist. I am so sorry for your loss. It looks like you were friends for a very long time you all had baby faces in many of your photos. You had so many adventures and did so much hiking with Andy I can see he was a good person and a great friend! He was so young this tribute was beautifully done and I am sure he would have loved it. Neither cancer or aids. He slipped away in the early hours of the morning. His heart gave up. 🥲
