Thank you Sam for another awesome message and video. This old TN red clay is awesome for building on, roads and houses, but wow it gets slick when it's packed and wet. That churt you used in the road enterance is called slate rock, and it's hard to dig. The blue slate is impossible to break up, unless you have a hammer on your excavator. God bless brother, and thank you for the prayers a few months back. My hand and ribs have heated, thank God.

Hey Sam! Great video as always. Love your content and your faith in the Lord. I’m 16 and realizing He is the only thing we got left to fully rely on in life. 😂 😆 Recommendation…once you recoup money from the swing gear maintenance, you should get a quick coupler for the 313. Then you could have a wide grading bucket for moving lots of material. Also you could get a root rake for scraping root mat. Thanks again for your content. Have a great day!

You are definitely learning more all the time. First thing I would have done is slim the road then spread a few inches of chirt over the whole thing. It's just going to be a better base for the finished product. Besides you definitely were living right because you didn't wind up upside down in the creek bed.

That area I would want to dig a 2 ft deep ditch with drain pipe and 1" drain rock to take the water which will be in that area.

Why could you not build the road from the top down, rather than from the bottom upwards? Fewer trips on slippy surfaces would make it quicker j my mind? But I'm not doing heavy landscaping for a living, so I might be very wrong!
