My brother… it’s been a while since I’ve commented; however the knowledge I’ve gained has been remembered and incorporated into my daily routine. I’m on no prescribed medication and I look and feel better in my 50s than I did in my 30s. I love what you and your team has accomplished and will continue to do!!!

Hey Bryon, thanks for writing in brother and we appreciate your support. And many kudos to you for making your health a priority for the long haul. Keep up the great work! -The FFP Team

Anthony if you're strength/resistance training in the gym multiple times per week it is beneficial to spike insulin in a post workout meal white rice, potatoes, sugar etc etc
@Fitfatherproject8 ай бұрын
Hey Paul, great question brother! If there was ever a time to purposefully spike your insulin, it would be after a resistance training session. Now if you are only concerned with bulk, using "white" carb sources can help but from a nutrition POV, you can still spike your insulin with more complex carb varieties (like in the video) that will also come with additional nutrients. Best of luck Paul! -The FFP Team

Excellent suggestions. how to make a perfect protein smoothie for vegetarian? I use vegetarian protein powder but its not working on my satiety center. Suggestions please 🙏
@Fitfatherproject7 ай бұрын
Great question! Protein can be very satiating but powders may not be as much as "real food". However, sometimes powders make life a lot easier so we need to focus on the other ingredients. Check this out for some quick tips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKPQopuaoqyKZrs Best of luck! -The FFP Team

What‘s your thought on homemade sourdough wholemeal bread (rye, spelt, wheat)?
@Fitfatherproject2 ай бұрын
Thanks for writing in and great question! Homemade sourdough can be a great option as baking the dough with the "mother" is a healthy way of consuming bread. Another option we are big fans of is Einkorn as it's the first grain and is easily tolerated by just about anyone. Best of luck -The FFP Team

Dr. A, what's your thoughts on dried fruit, such as apple or banana chips? thank you
@Fitfatherproject6 ай бұрын
Apple chips are great! Especially if you put cinnamon on them. I definitely prefer if they are homemade… store bought often have added sugar. Banana chips are good too. I’d say apple have the edge. If you’re making banana chips, start them when the banana still has some green on it so it’s more fibrous and less sugary.

What’s your opinion on Semaglutides? If someone incorporates it with healthy eating and training
@Fitfatherproject7 ай бұрын
Great question Jeremy! We are much bigger fans of working to improve your health more naturally. There are a variety of potential side effects that are a bit concerning so although cleared for use, we recommend working to create a healthier lifestyle through daily movement, deliberate exercise, and a cleaner dietary intake. You can find tons of videos from our YT channel to help in all departments. Best of luck to you! -The FFP Team

What is the amount of carbs a 160 pound guy should eat per day I’m caught up on this carb stuff
@Fitfatherproject8 ай бұрын
Hey David, thanks for writing in! The exact amount will depend on your current goals and activity but generally speaking, we recommend consuming around 30-40g per meal, given they are the right kind of complex/slower-burning carbs, like those mentioned in this video. We lay it all out in our FF30X program found here: www.fitfatherproject.com/ff-aa-trial/ Best of luck! -The FFP Team

I’m sure you’ve explained this before, but when looking at the ratios of the perfect plate are they by weight?
@tdego8 ай бұрын
I just grabbed a regular sized dinner plate and did as he just said. It works.
@DoubleKnotSpy-q4k8 ай бұрын
It is by volume. It is a widely quoted, easy to follow rule of thumb.
@Fitfatherproject8 ай бұрын
Great question! But they are by a percentage of the plate listed. So 50% veggies, 25% lean protein, 25% a complex carbs works great for most people. Best of luck! -The FFP Team

@Fitfatherproject8 ай бұрын
Great question! We are big fans of Ezekiel bread so starting there is a big help. From that point, opting for an organic lunch meat or shredded chicken/turkey is a solid protein option, in addition to loads of mixed greens, spread avocado, and some dijon or spicy mustard for a little kick. Delicious and filling! -The FFP Team

The original pronunciation that has evolved over time to the modern, commonly heard pronunciation, “raze.bet.i”. The historical theory is that the “p” became silent as people had trouble pronouncing the “pb” together. He’s here to bring back ancient grains/carbs and ancient pronunciations. 👍
