Hey! So I finally decided to publish this on KZbin. All that I ask is that you DON’T upload nor screenshot it anywhere! This video is only on my Instagram, Tumblr, and here! Just don’t mess with it please! :)
Now, this is my first ever animatic and I know it’s not the best, I know that I made mistakes. It took me two weeks to make this and in doing so it consumed all my energy, and I really do hope y’all enjoy it! Please leave your thoughts on it, if you want :).

I agree with you Flicc (sorry for late reply), because you can also just be able to see Deceit's tears around 2:30 like he realizes Virgil isn't going back to the dark sides with him, and then he smirks and bows (like trying to hide the pain). And its understandable, he is DECEIT. He doesn't know how or refuses to show his TRUE emotions. So he uses manipulation since that is something he DOES know how to do because maybe he really just didn't want to be lonely...

Kakmonstret 725 I KNOW RIGHT? I mean, it makes sense! Think about it! When Deceit was pretending to be Patton, he appeared instead of rising up. Virgil also appears instead of rising up. Meaning, dark sides just appear. This also means Virgil used to be a dark side before becoming a main one. However, it seems that through out the video he starts seeming more and more curious about “Patton’s” behavior, and he didn’t seem at all surprised when he revealed himself, meaning he must’ve noticed from behavior that it was deceit. also- Patton(Deceit): “oh,Logan! Exactly!!! A headcanon Of mine is that after every video Virgil used to Come to Dessie’s room and just cry out, until Accepting Anxiety, where he literally beamed and told Dee about how the Main side’s finally see him as apart of the group, and that he should start appearing too. Dessie took his tip and appeared, but undercover as Patton to see how it all was. I think Virge knew instantly that something was wrong with Pat, but he was to busy dealing with Thomas to care. At the end of the newest video he despises Dessie, and doesn’t want to talk to him at all, even tho Dessie still cares

It's one of those things you can guess is the case but hearing it confirmed just validates it and you can genuinely theorize and feel towards it. It's like if you guessed that a show you liked was going to get cancelled, but didn't have full confirmation until they did indeed confirm it was getting cancelled, and now you're open to genuinely theorize why it was getting cancelled and feel bad it is. It's just one of those things that you know but hearing it solidifies it.

The fact that Deceit is trying his best to persuade Virgil back into the dark sides. And the way you see Virgil so determinated to save his friends, scratch that. His family, and how he seems so relieved that he was able to, but he knows it's not the end. And that tear from Deceit at the end. Jeez, this is already my fav musical, along with my babies. Now this is different. It's painting this song in a positive light, instead of the negative one it has in context of the musical. I really like how when they're reprimanding Virgil they're under Deceit 's control but then they're actually happy for him once he frees them. Very good 10/10

I cannot stop rewatching this video. Most of the Sanders Sides animatics revolve around Virgil leaving/ betraying his new friends/ Deceit twisting everyone all up. This is a very powerful song combined with powerful visuals and as a writer watching this just makes me want to write this story... but I can't add anything because everything that needs to be said is already said. The combination is pretty damn close to perfection for something so deceptively (see what I did there?) simple-looking. I love how you turned the meaning of the song into something completely different - instead of being right, the accuser is the bad influence in this case and we know Virgil is right to walk away but we still feel Deceit's loss. And the various voices representing the other sides twisted into resentment by Deceit. I love the visuals of Virgil freeing the others. I love how you characterize the 'shades' of the various characters with one defining characteristic for each added to their color, and Deceit with just the one eye... I love the single teardrop on Deceit's face in the last picture. So much to love.

Okay, I see some kind of story in this and I just want to point it out! So after lying can be good Deceit is mad that he chose the life the sides led and felt betrayed that he left the others (and I also feel that he was Virgil’s mentor and felt betrayed in that sense). So he did the only thing he new to get Virgil back on his side... lie. And he used his friends to do so and Virgil actually believed him and his anxiety heightened and Deceit was starting to gain control. But once he realized these weren’t the sides he was able to escape Deceit and run back to the real sides.

In a way, I truly understand Deceit and Virgil’s relationship as Jeremy Heere and the Squip, or Evan Hansen and Connor Murphy. Deceit wanted to control Virgil, and at one point had (when Deceit/Patton asked, “Virgil, it’s me. Aren’t we friends?” And Virgil responded with, “I’m not so sure we are” might be hinting at the fact that they used to be friends) and was probably using him. That is, until Virgil knew Deceit wasn’t as good as he thought, and chose to become a better trait and be friends with the other three. But Deceit’s still there, trying to gain Virgil back. Like the Squip and Jeremy, the Squip controls Jeremy to do his bidding, until Jeremy listens to Michael and tries to get rid of his Squip. Michael can represent the other three sides. Evan wanted to stop lying about Connor, or Virgil wanted to stop lying because of Deceit. Sorry, don’t mind me- this was amazing, y’hear?!

Everyone loses their colour as they're being controlled by Deceit. You can really see how Deceit is struggling, he just wants his old friend back, and he doesn't know what to do. The only thing he knows how to do is lie and manipulate so, to him, this is the only way to get Virgil back to the Dark Sides. The yellow is really interesting, the way you've used it - the tears and puppet strings are so cool! And then at the end, Deceit is himself crying _yellow tears._ This is just such an amazing animatic.

This... Actually made me feel really bad for Deciet. He's so distraught about Virgil leaving him, to the point he's messing with him MENTALLY to get him back. Definatly has brung out a different side of the Sander Sides. Well done. You deserve the praise you're getting! x
