I'm not surprised. Part of it is the economy; people who bought the lower tier merch often had less discretionary income, and inflation ate a chunk of what they did have. Market saturation plays into it too; sports cards are a flooded category, and that alone drives prices down. Most collectibles at the very top of their category maintain their values better. The ones in middle to low grades tend to drop off across the board. It's like old dealers say; you make your money on the buy, not the sale. If you buy something right, you won't be eating it when the price drops.

In the USA it is much easier to sell items than in the UK to sell on eBay. Many sellers if not most are really struggling as the UK eBay site is dead. Personally, I sold 2 things in January, and nothing else till around July & August. I sold 8 items in 7 weeks and I thought things were turning, after that it has gone dead again, with very few views on items. I think eBay is turning more to sellers who use promoted listings more than small-time sellers like me. eBay don't need to do this though, we all pay eBay when items sell with our fees, so let's all play on the same pitch. Thanks for the video, Don. Charles in the UK

I have 800+ very ecclectic items in my ebay store. I avg 1 day/wk with no watchers or buyers otherwise I sell about 10 items/week. I've been selling items that have been posted 30 minutes & those on for 2 years. Lately vintage Barbie & Halloween items sell best.

Sick Lacross set sale! I would have been too scared to list that Chefoo card lol. I also liked the CA lighthouse rppc, the fairy cards. I think you should reconsider getting a few of your trade cards graded before you resell them. What company even grades them?

I came home from an auction today and bought some items based on some of your videos. I have a good feeling about it. I enjoyed this video. Thank you.

Sales have been very slow past 2 weeks on the whole. Not just on Ebay, but Mercari, and Etsy also. I sell Jewelry, Paintings, and smaller collectibles. I sell a variety.

The lacrosse cards are awesome. The art looks familiar.

Do you ever find stamps on the backs of the postcards that are more valuable than the card itself? I can never decide which part to focus on.

Anything beyond that I'd imagine you'd have ballpark it and do best offer.

Similar items would be good gauge of price point even if not exactly the same
