I ordered my 9800x3d from Mindfactory minutes after they put it in their online shop with express 24h shipping and BOI, its amazing! I didnt know hoch much my Ryzen 3700x limited my rtx3080. I dont have any stutterings anymore. FF16, Jedi Survivor, heavily modded Syrim,ff15, Sable, Martha is dead, GW2, everything runs now amazingly well

I drove 4 hours to Microcenter in LA and they told us they were sold out. I bought a couple of 4k OLED monitors and mini PC for the wife. They introduced me to the store manager. He said if I needed anything else to let him know. I asked if he had a AMD 9800x3d and he said they might have some in the back. He asked well what else you need? I said CPU, Motherboard, Ram.... He's like we got a CPU for you. 😊 I was so happy. 😎😁

BRETT!!! Most of the world's population doesn't live near a Microcenter. I have to either drive to their Tucson, AZ store or one of the ones in LA, CA. Sucks when companies tie their hardware launches to specific store chains. When I needed a new graphics card a few years ago, I had to give money to my daughter when she had her boyfriend went to LA to visit his folks. Luckily, I'm still happy with my Ryzen 7 7700 (non-X) chip. May build a new PC next year, and only then will I contemplate a 9000 series processor.

i use liquid metal and have been using it the last 5 years and it hasnt removed or made it ´difficult to read the numbers on the IHS.. i have i9-9900ks.. still using it btw. if there is anyuthing different about the metal material like when they make those IHS's then i get it why it would mess with the newer cpus.. but if there no differences then its funny to read about those stuff, and it automatically tells me that these people who are having trouble working with liquid metal should NOT use it as a thermal paste..

With Windows 10 slated for demise, it's time for Intel to go consumer with their own OS. Intel has a nice flavor of Linux for developers that would provide a solid foundation. The key would be a polished app store (to contrast with the trash that is Microsoft's app store).

I'm glad that Intel is trying to improve their CPUs (we NEED competition), but I really don't like the "launch now, patch later" tactic that's plagued the video game industry is now seeping into the PC Hardware industry.
