It would be terrible if they can't get another investor to do all this,it would mean all those people who lived in the surrounding area that moved out would've done it for nothing. It's a pity they can't put lights on the newer trams for the illuminations. Maybe you should have a bit of a break Stephen before it breaks you. It's got to be stressful for you. As always a great view of the sand and sea.

That site would be perfect for a transport museum? Put the trams there.. direct access to the prom and could intergrate Blackpool museums, maybe even try to attract a major museum, like Royal Armouries in Leeds or National Railway museum in York. How about V&A North, Science Museum North or Natural History Museum North? Or the National Gallery? .. the vast majority’s of all these collections aren’t even on show but in storage. And they could be free entry just like all the major public museums.

Sad news about the investment, fingers crossed it won't be long till another is found. Delighted the Heritage trams will be back in 2025 hopefully the problems will be overcome. The new trams are faster than the Heritage ones and with them both using the same tracks there could be problems. Thank you so much for your hard work Stephen, look after that foot. 😊😊😊

Regarding the old trams its health and safety gone mad as usual its all extra monies that Tram Town will have to find to fit extra equipment to them.. Take the rocket illuminated tram will never take passengers again because you had to get on at the back of the tram it ran for a few decades with out any problems. I suppose it gives pen pushers something to do to make them doing something.

Should have kept the central station and modernised it from mr beeching ditching it it was your stupid council back then that wanted to do away with it and it should have been the North rlwy that bit the dust and would have been better for the new trams also

Looking from the outside in, I can not ever see any business investing such huge sums of money in to Blackpool especially when they have shareholders to answer. Unfortunately there are too many videos showing the downside of the town, not you Stephen you do a great job of promoting the good side. With so many businesses going under with large hotels for sale at prices less than a single car garage in London it does not look good.

They have taken away the last pull of visitors in what was Bonney street market and now Blackpool is left with 0 markets-which was by far the main driver of trade and tourism. Many coach holidays that come to Blackpool very rarely spend time in Blackpool-the holiday makers stay here but plan many of their tours in the rest of Lancashire. What they used to enjoy here is sadly a distant memory! With the country in decline I do not see that plot of land changing any time soon-so Blackpool Council get the market back up and running!

Its a shame some of those buildings such as the police station are derelict they would make great hotels and the carpark would make a brilliant skate and bike park for the teenagers that would keep them from hanging around the shops drinking either that or as you say an arena a band stand would be epic for local rock bands when you have light pool but lol theres some art on those walls i see the kids have been buisy 😂 it looks quite calm in blackpool no wind or rain and those seagulls looked abit stoned walking along the railings most probably theyre anxious incase they are blown away like last week with storm darah but you cant beat seagulls they are great birds i think. If somebody dropped a chip tjose seagulls would have more energy than a red bull 😂 i think people are getting used to going back onto the promenade after storm darah but another brilliant video tjanx steven 😊👍✋🗼❤️

A disgrace letting down bars shops and hotels and all the people working hard to try and make a living and make Blackpool prosper. The council just knock everything down . Apart from all the dilapidated slums abandoned by owners. Come on council - let Blackpool flourish

The council make you laugh when they say their looking at the safety off the old trams, when the council do nothing to block the tramlines off from the public, i mean if your a visitor with your head down eating fish and chips, theirs absolutely nothing stopping you from wandering onto the tramlines and getting killed, if you where a private contractor just opening the tram service, the health and safety would make you put railings up the full length off the tramlines , but has it's the council, they don't have to bother , and the health and safety say nothing .
