Let the nightingale sing again 💓
Bonjour :D !!
First appearance on KZbin with a Good Omens animatic (first time i do one sooooo) !
I hope that everyone is almost well, that everyone has dried their tears, in which case I'm hoping that my little project might cheer things up, even though I know that it would have been far too simple for it to end like that !! 😅
It took me two weeks to complete, and I'm very happy with it. My biggest fear would have been not being able to finish it before I resumed my studies, which would have been very frustrating. I’m also very hard on myself and it doesn’t help hehehe...
Good Omens is my favorite series and is for me very comforting, inspiring and fun. Should Mr Gaiman (or indeed any of the series' staff) ever pass this way, I'd like to say a big thank you for bringing this work to what it is today, for which I am very grateful.
Of course, a big thanks to the actors doing suuch a great job !! Among these people, i must say that the Sheen/Tennant duo and energy is absolutely excellent and I am also very happy to see this friendship and complicity growing appart from the filming. Litteral serotonin suppliers !
Well, to make short, thanks to all the people who worked, work, and will work on Good Omens Prime adaptation !! ❤️ Whether it's the costumes, the scenery, the scenarios etc...
And last but not least thanks to the Pride and Prejudice adaptation by Joe Wright for LITTERALY EXISTING because this film has been shown to me by my mom since very young and I fell in love with it like she did when she discovered it. It is moreover the film and its splendid music which inspired me for this animatic so THANK YOU ! 🙇‍♀️

This is gorgeous. I cannot find the words to describe the euphoria I'm feeling right now. If season two didn't end the way it did, I would've wanted it to end like this. I loved the ending to season two, just the way I love this piece you've created. I love the detail of Crowley struggling to find his words, and Aziraphale taking a moment to actually listen to Crowley when he needed him the most. Brilliant work here, well done

I don't usually cry but this genuinely made me tear up, and the line "I don't WANT to be forgiven" was so perfect and heartbreakingly accurate to his character, making the canon ending even worse. Also, I thought Aziraphale was definitely going to say, "I won't, my dear ... but--", and then go back to heaven anyway (still thinking he's doing the right thing for Crowley) so the happy ending was a welcome reprieve.

This is a very wonderful job! Drawn gently, beautifully and takes to the soul. I especially liked the text of Crowley's speech, and the way it was delivered. With that sensuality and tenderness... I have no words to describe how comforting and hopeful this is. The line about Aziraphale being the only star that Crowley didn't create, but he's the dearest of them all, really stuck with me. The art is so nice! Also love all of the dialogue. The thing about his favorite star??? My poor heart. And it’s so nice seeing the communication. They’re so mad at each other at the end of s2 because they can’t grasp that they both think they’re defending the other. I feel like Aziraphale especially fails to see in this season how much of Crowley’s animosity towards Heaven at this point is due to how they have treated (and will almost certainly continue to treat) Aziraphale. But of course, Crowley also misses how Aziraphale is working so hard to ease Crowley’s pain.

I know this may be a late comment but I never normally comment on videos at all and I have to leave this here: your art style is STUNNING!!! You manage to draw Aziraphale and Crowley in a distinctive and unique art style, and simultaneously keep their alikeness to how they are in real life so faithfully!! Everything about this is exactly what Crowley and Aziraphale needed in terms of communication, and you portrayed their dialogue so accurately according to their individual characters. Although I loved the original ending of s2, I definitely do think (or at least hope) we will get something like this for s3, because these two deserve to be happy and healthy together 🤧💗 Again, this is amazing, especially for your first animatic!!
