Perfect for outdoor movie nights. Wouldn't want to take anything more expensive outside. Also for outside the speakers do not cut it. I find using a sound bar helps immensely. I also had all the same complaints and as you mentioned you got to keep the price in mind to temper expectations as it's pretty cheap. Great review. Keep it up!

I have to admit Vanyko was my gateway projector and I don’t regret it. But after four months of owning last years model I upgraded to an optoma 4K projector and now have an SI Solo screen not even a year later.

I have the V630 Performance and it’s amazing. It’s essentially the same price. But the fan doesn’t throw air out the back and they seemed to have fixed the lag and the corner/edge blur that some of the projectors had. I have it throwing onto a 150” screen at roughly 14 feet away. A tv will always be better than a projector if the room isn’t fairly dark so keep that in mind before you buy anything.

I own one, and for $250 it's good enough. Emulation, and most of my AAA games are good however I would not recommend for competitive gaming (example FPS Multi-Players.) I do agree about the whites being too bright, but I have compared it to the same level as my old local movie theaters from back in the early 80's (pre-digital) they had the same issue. That said movies before digital cameras have the same old feeling which is nice, but newer films tend to look a tad washed out. Anyway For those that want something good, but can not afford a expensive (above $300) it's the best for 1080 that I have found so far (I have tried & returned 9 models before this one.) BTW on your edges being blurry I have not really had that issue with mine as long as I got the keystone in the perfect position.
@JeremyLeePotocki5 жыл бұрын
@@aldoceltic It really depends on three things 1. How big the projection size is? 2. How far away you are going to sit from the screen? 3. What am I going to project (Movies, TV, or 8-bit games)? For example my Living Room is small 3.8862m X 3.3528m the screen is a 16:9 ratio 254cm in size being 3m back you will see the pixels in 720p. the further back the more it blends in also the smaller the projection size the more you will not notice. If this is the case 1080p will be a lot better if your watching TV, Movies, over playing modern games. Now if this is used to play old-school console games or 8-bit computers then 720p is fine on large projection screens. Personally I choose the V600 for the higher native resolution over the 720p native resolution of the G600 especially since for £30 more you doubled the resolution it's a way better value. Oh I will have to say I do have a Vamvo L4200 (similar to the G600 just with a different color scheme/brand logo) as a travel projector for my laptop so I know first hand the quality of the screen although I paid less for it at around £100.
@JeremyLeePotocki5 жыл бұрын
@@aldoceltic Well since your getting the G600 be aware the speaker will be more tinny than the V600 I would highly recommend getting a mini stereo receiver (like a kinster or Lepei) w/ some small bookshelf speakers or a basic sound bar. I just use a Bluetooth headsets for my laptop with my L4200.

I'm really thinking about getting a projector soon as I've wanted one since I was a kid. I might buy one next month but I cant seem to pull the trigger. I want it too be real 1080p and just a great picture without spending lots of money I dont have. Also I dont think i can have it more than about 5ft away from the screen.
@masvas15 жыл бұрын
Bro, I'm same as you, but I have suffered the same fate as many others with budget projectors, and it's the fan noise. Holy Cow!! It's like a jet engine. So while the internal speakers might be all-right, you then have to compete with the fans by cranking up your sound. I even took apart the projector, replaced the fans with supposedly quieter ones, but made no difference. I've covered the projector with a ventilated Styrofoam foam, with lots of vents to diffuse the hot air, and that brought it down a tiny bit. A tiny bit. --- Bottom line: I'm going to save up, buy something in the $500 range, 1080p, and with very low fan noise.

Exactly. The problem with "pro" reviewers is that they have been spoiled with luxury projectors. They should not review budget projectors. This is an entry level projector for the first-timer-owner. And the expectation isn't like a half a million dollar projector. The basic thing these reviewers tell us is whether the image is good or not and whether it is enjoyable or not.
@LweendoSianchapa5 жыл бұрын
@@nirmansarkar hey... I'm a student in college without a TV or a projector yet... Would you advice me to get a budget projector like this one, or a 40" TV for slightly higher the price??? I'm a first timer in both aspects
@nirmansarkar5 жыл бұрын
@@LweendoSianchapa This projector is good for watching movies and movies only. Text work cannot be done is this particular model as the text image in certain parts is quite blurry. Also the biggest limitation of a "projector" is that you cannot use them in daylight/bright-light. So it also affects your eyesight when you watch it for too long in the dark. Some bright projectors are there but their Bulb-life is very low since they burn extremely bright. This projector is for those who just want to watch movies and play some games on a really big screen for sometime. and then get back to their work. It is better you buy a 42+ inch tv which comes at a very comparable price. Both the projector and TV serve a very different purpose. Final suggestion would be - buy a TV. It will save you a lot of hassle. Cheap and great TVs are available.
