I haven't read your book yet, but I might just check it out. Your description of chicken people gave me so many flashbacks to high school. I remember in my senior year discussing with a group of my classmates what constitutes as "ailihpodep", saying that mental and physical maturity should be more of concern than age. I asked if it would be worse to engage with a 15 year old that was mentally and physically like the average 25 year old, or a 25 year old that was mentally and physically like the average 15 year old. They all had severe emotional responses, slapping me with labels that had nothing to do with the subject, like "I bet you believe women are only worth their ability to have children". They failed, however, to address my arguments with any logic. I always realized that there may be something I'm not considering in my claims or arguments, but these people didn't even try to argue. They just responded with anger and disgust. To be clear, I would feel a bit strange engaging with or dating someone more than a few years younger than me simply due to a lack of relatability, but I was pointing out that the age of consent is a general guideline and our perception of 18 being a good age of consent is somewhat arbitrary. I also pointed out that 50% of our cognitive development occurs between 18 and 25. So, if we're going by cognitive development and the ability to make responsible choices in an increasingly complex, modern civilization, then let's raise the age of consent and everything else to 25. They still maintained their emotional responses and shut the conversation down.

I honestly don't understand why a psychopath or sociopath would feel compelled to get a diagnosis, especially if they already know what they are. It wouldn't provide any benefit, but instead constrain their rights and potentially be a detriment to their social lives. Why would they pointlessly hand over power over themselves?

@@greytuesday28Therapy I can understand because they want guidance on how to deal with regular people in a way that doesn’t screw their long term ability to continue getting what they want. I’ve never been to therapy, so I don’t know to what extent you have a say in a diagnosis, but I hear what you’re saying. Maybe you need a diagnosis to get access to certain treatment or specialists? Idk.

You guest mentioned that he had some behavior in his early childhood that indicated that he had this. I feel it is so important to account for what type of environment a kid is in before we put any label on any type of behavior. As a kid you think what your see every day is normal and if that is a very toxic place then any kid is capable of doing all sorts of things.

Psychopaths are good or bad as long as it benefits them, but being bad is generally more thrilling than being good therefore most of them are bad.

Hey, I had a few questions but didn't want to clutter your inbox. 1. How does cannabis affect psychopaths? 2. Have you ever tried it? What did it feel like? 3. Do other illicit substances like molly or ecstasy affect psychopaths differently?
@dollie9018
@dollie9018 8 ай бұрын
I'm not a psychopath but what I've read someone who is mention that it makes him a little tired but that's about it. Molly doesn't affect much at all, doesn't create that ecstatic feeling it should. If I remember he mentioned it may have given him a more focused state but it could've been cocaine as well. But overall drugs and alcohol don't really affect psychopathic brain structure.

I would guess everyone would respond a little differently, but cannabis just made me giggly, morphine made me hallucinate low key and alcohol slowed my reaction times

Past research on psychopathy has focused on humans and largely neglected animals. A new study was aimed at investigating psychopathy in cats based on the Triarchic Model of Psychopathy. According to the findings, cats can display psychopathic traits. Psychopathy in cats shows five dimensions: meanness, boldness, disinhibition, pet-unfriendliness, and human-unfriendliness.

How do you deal with your own health problems? It probably depends on how much it restricts you in what you do and you tend to take a pragmatic approach. "Normal" people often slip into overthinking or hypochondria. How is it with you?

@@m.e.thomas7901 You are such a huge loser, truly I am sorry for you. You think you are hot and special because you are some sociopathic lawyer, lol, it takes SO SO SO MUCH MORE character and courage to heal the world than it does to contribute to the world's callousness. To murder innocent creatures?? lol, At least pick on somebody or something your own size. Your behaviors show that you are nothing but an empty, shallow, narcissistic bully. The world remembers people who use their time, energy and passion to help better humanity, people like Martin Luther King Jr,. for example, men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice.
