I heard about the story when they lost the dog and how the owner couldn’t stay in the country to look for her because she didn’t have the proper documentation. I felt her pain so much. So glad this ended happily. ❤

I'm so happy this turned out well for the family and the dog, but does anyone believe Delta ever lifted a finger to find that dog? When someone at the airport actually made a concerted effort to find her, they had her in one day, but as long as it was up to Delta, nothing happened, they wouldn't even vouch for Robin Allgood to be let on the property. Props to FedEx workers for caring even though it wasn't their responsibility at all, but Delta should be ashamed of themselves.

Delta failed everyone. I would still pursue legal action for all the emotional distress and negligence. This lady would be forever my hero. I would always remember to celebrate her birthday. Kudos to those over at Fed-Ex. Chihuahuas are in a league of their own.

Well-told story, David. It had a good, compelling pace to it. You did expose Delta for not allowing Robin to search earlier, rightfully so. Someone should have walked her through as soon as they heard a dog could be loose there, a dog that was put in a crate she could chew through, so they had a responsibility. Not to mention it must break at least one OSHA rule.

Huh? Fed Ex helped, which was fantastic. But do you understand that this woman Robin - who had ZERO relation to the family or the dog - spent 2 weeks of her OWN time making posters, putting them up, driving around, etc. She then got in her car at 3am to drive to the airport and fight BS battles for TWELVE hours. She drove the airport for three of those hours. Not only would most families not go this length, but that a total stranger did that? She is a hero and warrior princess.

The ridiculous crap they had to go through to get the dog back doesn't make me feel any more certain that our airlines even know what they are doing at any given time.
