There is something about the Houshou Marine figure that the concept artist, sculptor and/or painter are massive fans of her. Mainly because this is far and away the best looking Hololive figure we have seen so far. Also the live stream idea sounds interesting. I look forward to seeing what comes of it.

Marine is the most hype figure that is coming out right now. Good smile quality control has been going down hill a bit for a while. I suspect it's because they got too big for their own good. I still trust them more than a lot of manufacturers, but I no longer hold them at the same esteem as I used to.

I think with how much they’re investing in doing the manufacturing themselves (for nendos at least) and figure manufacturing r&d in general it’ll eventually pay off but I agree they grew too big too quickly and have to rely on too many third parties for manufacturing plus the current logistical nightmare the entire world is in isn’t helping. I think they’ll be back on top eventually but it’s gonna be a bumpy road

I'll be getting Nadeshiko Kagamihara pop up parade, 1/7 Ena Saito, scale Ogiwara Sayu. There's a couple others i'd like as well, but a ton of figures were announced for Pretty Horse Derby, so gotta hold back a bit. I'm interested in 1/7 Mejiro Mcqueen and maybe nendoroid Sakura Kagamihara as well though, as well as all of the hololive pop up parades.

Honestly not too many figures I am too excited for out of these announcements, I am very excited for the Tensura and Baki Pop Up Parades as its been so long since we got any new Baki figures, really hoping for a PuP Yujiro in the future to go with Baki though, for scales not many at all, not because I think those shown off were bad they just ain't from series I am passionate about, though the 1/7 Scale Figure Ginko Sora looks beautiful even if I ain't the biggest fan of Ryous as a series, oh and how could I forget the Fine Clover 1/7 Scale Figure Satanichia, no picture yet but its a Gabrial Dropout figure so gonna buy no matter what

Honestly, I almost never feel any excitement with Goodsmile won hobby reveals, but this time I actually am excited. They FINALLY showed some love for Baki and although they're only doing 3 for whatever reason, I'm still pretty excited.

Ironically, most of the figures I was hyped about (and even surprise ones I had no idea were even in the making) were announced/up for preorder right before this event. The Miku Symphony figure was even featured on the event banner, but was already well into the preorder phase. Maybe that's why the event wasn't anything special to me, holding out for WonFes tho! Good thing this time around is my wallet wasn't in any danger XD

Love your desk set up the figures look so good there!! So excited for the Tokyo Revengers nendoroids and phat company grey scale Kaede Akamatsu figure from danganronpa. Phat company always make really cool bases for their danganronpa figures (hoping for more). Draken is definitely husbando in future timeline, instant preorder. Hoping they make Baji, Kokonoi, and the Haitani brothers (future timeline versions ideally) nendoroids next for Tokyo Revengers. Only disappointment for me was no Tendo Satori nendoroid, a girl can still dream.

Too many figmas. I really don't like figmas. They're too small and I find they dont look amazing given how freaking expensive they are. Regarding the Hello! figures, they're cute, and cheap, but not all characters are suited for the style. Prime example: Kill la Kill. Satsuki with a happy face? Kinda weird. Super excited for the Nanami and Sukuna nendos, didn't know they were making a Maki too, definitely want that! Also crazy excited for Vanitas and Noe! But the key to those nendos is gonna be in the alternative face plates. There are so many great comedic faces in that show. Would also absolutely preorder a Domi nendo if they made that

I also was hoping that FREEing would use Rengoku's iconic pose like Aniplex did instead of the one that they chose! I absolutely loved the look of Aniplex's Rengoku, however, I decided to not preorder him since Aniplex has been dropping the ball with their Demon Slayer figures. I would have to see ACTUAL pictures if I decide to pick him up in the future. I'm disappointed with FREEing's Rengoku. I'm not a fan of the pose and the flames are too much. I remember also thinking that they could've used his "final smile" pose but oh well. I'm 99% he's going to fly off the shelves regardless which is great for Rengoku fans!

The Asuna Stacia is a definite pre-order from me since Im a huge fan of the Art Noveau movment which the key visual is based on! Also its the best Stacia Asuna figure out there in my opinion. Still contemplating on the shiro and S-fire Bakugo. I wish Bakugo was 1/7 though.

Was hyping about the chizuru bunny fig but i just don't think they got her cute face and that impact when you see your anime character become a figure. Also not a fan with the nendoroid just sitting down was happy for konosuba lineup but i realized its kinda boring. 😅 Also Gwyn have you considered buying resin statue/figure? Demon slayer lineup has a lot of them and I think they are awesome for your next collection and the live stream idea is very nice so we could interact more or better with you, well have a good day! :)

Hey Gwyn, I know you mentioned at the end that you would need to get a better webcam if you wanted to stream. But don’t waste your money on that, you have an amazing camera already that you make videos with. Just buy the Elgato Cam Link 4K, it will allow you to just stream with your camera

Hi I recently stumbled across your channel and have been enjoying it alot. Im new to Anime figure collecting and there is a figure on Goodsmile US store that im interested in that is sold out most other places other then there and Galactic toys but ive seen alot of people complaining that Goodsmile Us doesn't package their figures well so that the boxes don't get damaged in transit and I was curious what your experience had been with them related to that? Trying to decide which of those two companies to order from as I want the figure's packaging in great shape. Thanks for your time!!!
