@George Jackson That too! Good point. She eventually introduced them but I say dude was wrong first, he walked past James like he was the butler 😆 instead of saying ‘You must be Mr Evans...’ Her reaction to it is notable though.
@Docmananoff3 жыл бұрын
@George Jackson Agreed. By Oscar’s reaction, maybe she didn’t mention that she was even married. I forgot how the episode played out but yeah I can’t see a dude purposely playing James like that unless he didn’t know. Oscar was wrong on the man to man side of things but yeah, Florida violated too.
@Docmananoff3 жыл бұрын
@George Jackson Not that I didn’t really catch it, it’s more of how dude disrespected James at this moment. As a man he should have addressed James before anything else especially since James answered the door. What Florida did was wrong too but that could have gone really bad real fast if James had reacted like most dudes would have over an unknown man walking into his house without acknowledging him. Florida still gets blame but Oscar wasn’t thinking or just didn’t care.
@Docmananoff3 жыл бұрын
@George Jackson I’m right with you on that propaganda part. And shortly after this...James gets killed off the show. Yep, I feel what you’re saying. The only thing is that I don’t recall the whole episode, I think since Florida worked for the dude that he just popped up over to their apartment unannounced and she was scared to react to that because she needed the job. No excuse but I think there was a reason to kinda explain it. I’m gonna search for the episode to see the full picture.

I see things differently. I think that Florida shared (like most coworkers) of how she was feeling at home. I believe that the boss was deliberately trying to tell James to straighten up. He had a gold mine and if he don’t start acting like it’s gold in there, someone else will come steal his gold. Right in front of his face. His words were leading and meant to pack a powerful below them belt punch. Florida used that s an opportunity to talk to her bullheaded husband. Florida got jealous over Ms December…. Remember!!!

My favorite show of all time. James has always been my favorite character on the show. It was never the same when they killed him off. It’s important to see fathers in the home.
