I've been a professional chauffeur in NJ for many years. About 10 years ago, I had the distinct honor of driving Mr. Amos home 🏡 In all of my years of driving, I had never had a client ask me to come inside and offer to make me a cup of coffee ☕️ except for Mr. Amos. It was one of the nicest gestures that I can remember anyone doing. RIP Mr. Amos 🙏❤️

My Liberian brother. I first met John Amos in my native country, Liberia. I later met his mother by chance in Vailsburg and East Orange, New Jersey. A few years later, I met John again at a Liberian restaurant, owned by Sis Liz, who was a relative. He invited me to his solo performance of Othello at Symphony Hall in Newark. John Amos has passed away at 84. John has so many TV show and the movies he plays so film roles. Rest in peace in heaven John and have some rest!
