that's chinese culture. we used to sit down for dinner and waited for Grandma to take her chopsticks to pick some food before we all started taking food from the different dishes. I started cooking when I was 10, learned how to clean and gut fish, cut and wash vegetables, we have a wood burning stove with a big metal round wok like hers. Watching her brings back memories of my childhood. we have many similarities, I recognized many of her dishes.

Yes, it is a beautiful life!! And this young woman is extremly talented in all senses and authentic! I love her!! My sister in law is also Chinese and she grew up very similar, with her grandparents and uncles on the country side. Having ducks and chickens and their own big vegetable and fruit garden. And doing all by themselves, also constructing work.... And she loves as well watching these beautiful videos of Li Ziqi... But she told me, that it is super cold there in the winter and that in summer, you have a lot, lot of mosquitos. Still me too, I wish I could have my own house, my own garden and feed my family with home grown food..!

It takes a loooooooooooooooooot of constant work to live like that. Far from stress-free. All that veg, fruit, produce and flowers takes much much work and maintenance.

@@MaryShelleysNib We have a garden at home, taking care of veg and flowers is de-stressing. Just because you associate not being lazy and actually doing some work with stress doesn't mean we all do. Stress from work comes when you are in constant fear of losing it or failing at it, or being stuck in a rut. Literally none of those apply to gardening.
