You are so right about the material of the pot. I have all my plants in a plastic pot and the dirt just stays wet. I just ordered clay pots and I’m going to have to repot my plants in fall. I hope they don’t die.

I bought a 2 inch potted cutting of scindapsus pictus and putt it in a 6 inch. Then I repotted it in a 5.5 inch. Not much of difference, still too big but I didn't have any smaller terra cottas.

I went on vacation for 10 days, and I overwatered all plants! The soil of most plants kept all the moisture and it's killing them slowly... I am not sure what to do xD I already added holes to the soil to see if it dries! Should I go ahead and change the soil? I am new, sorry! hahah

I just killed my germanium she was so special for me I saved some leafs but they all rotted in the water now I have one single leaf what should I do???

I just repotted my propagated pothos (who had beginner stage root rot, I tend to overwater :( ) and she seems really sad. I mean, she never likes to grow more leaves and I'm starting to wonder if I should just keep her in water for now... any ideas? Fyi- she got root rot in dirt, not the water

Wait. Pothos don't like water? The only way I've been able to keep my pothos alive and actually propagate it is when I have a jar of river rocks and water (no dirt) and they thrive. I'm so confused. :(
