It's sad that Claudia didn't inform them that she was pregnant. She must have REALLY needed the money to leave that out before filming began. Excellent job once again Cecil.

all of that could have been avoided or staff and crew would be more understanding so production could be made more accommodating, however I could see why she would not disclose she was pregnant because she may not have gotten the role. makes you wonder if many of the actors/actresses difficulties on set, are to do mostly with external factors.

That scene you mentioned from The Thing From Another World is seriously one of my favorite stunts of all time. They set the guy on fire, then just threw a bucket of kerosene in his face while he was on fire. The whole set damn near went up, it was great. One of the absolute classics of 50s Sci-Fi.

Your videos are great. You should do more videos where you’re explaining the great things about movies or directors that people seem to miss. Like the videos you did with, The Happening and Silent Hill. I have a better view on, The Happening and its director now. I thought the movie was okay at first, but after seeing your video on it, I can appreciate the director and now see why the things in the movie were that way. With Silent Hill, I thought it was a good movie but I totally only seen the surface, until again, I watched your video on it and now think the movie is even better. Now I know the story and things in it had more depth and meaning than what I was originally just seeing. There are lots of movies that people think are bad, because they missed the point that the director was trying to convey. Maybe a new series focused on this? That would be awesome and it will give those movies a second chance. I think you would change or open a lot of people’s views on the movies they thought were bad, or movies that required too much thinking so they only saw the surface.

I know I'm a fair bit too late with this comment. But I just heard Bruce Campbell talk about his character death in this movie. At the time of production of this movie, Bruce was going through a divorce and was feeling very much testy. He walked around frustrated and it showed on set. At one point he simply said 'why don't you just kill off my character ' and that's what they did. This is his side from the story. I like Bruce, we all do. Just like us, he's a human being with emotions. The emotions ran wild doing this production.

Aww, it's always sad to hear about Problems with the Production of a Movie. Especially, if it's a great Film. Though, no one can blame Claudia Christina for her Miscarriage, but herself. I really feel bad for the Actor of the Cop. I can't imagine having to deal with that Make Up. It's the same with Lon Chaney Jr., who supposedly hid a Flask of Wodka in his Costume, when he played the Mummy in the Universal-Sequels for the original Mummy, because he couldn't stand playing that Role; so he had to get hammered, just to endure it.
@Coffeebean19856 жыл бұрын
Manti Core she probably really needed the money or didn't know, my mom didn't know she was pregnant with me up to her 4th months because she kept bleeding normally. Shit like that happens. Then again, it would explain why she didn't want to do any action scenes. Really sad, she must have been desperate and it has to be horrible to lose a child that way.

I didn't go too far into it, but she wrote about it in her book. She knew she was pregnant and thought it was a way to save her failing relationship at the time. She's had a history of substance abuse (which she also discusses in the book) so as sad as it was that it happened, it seemed she had no one to blame but herself.
