Great stuff as always. Your photography background really stands out in these videos. I upgraded from a USB mic to a AT875R mic. I also have the scarlet. Keep going!!!

@@_coachcraig_ thank you, Coach! And congrats on the mic! What made you go the shotgun route?

@@DayOneVoiceover Honestly, my voice over coach. There was a consensus amongst most of the pro voice actors that it was the most underrated mic out there.

@@_coachcraig_ ah! That’s good to know. Let me know how you like it. I did my first long recording on the NT1 and was really liked it. Didn’t even really need any EQ’ing.

Cool new gear! Your videos are highly engaging and fun. Not a voiceover artist myself, but I'm really into the hardware and software as a podcaster.

@@wstks-fmworldwide5390 man, thanks a ton for commenting!! As a producer, I may have to pick your brain on something I’m stuck with. I’m struggling trying to make Logic Pro for iPad work for VO. If you have any resources I can tap into, I’d really appreciate it! 🙏🏼 Correction: I misread podcaster as producer. But the question still stands if you happen to know. Lol

I'm really enjoying these series of videos so far and look forwarding to them more and more. The lights really add more ambience to the room and variety is good. I agree with the small steps that needs to be taken and congrats on the new equipment. Very exciting to see how the progress goes. I also started with a blue yeti, upgraded to a Audio Technica AT2020 (XLR version) and upgraded again in 2022 to the Audio Technica AT4040. On a side note, do you edit your own videos? It's well put together with the intro and music thumbnails, keep it up!

@@Taiica thank you. And, yes, I do shoot and edit everything on my own, thumbnails included. My photography background has helped with that, I guess.

Great video! I actually just got the same gear last week (focusrite was solo instead of 2i2 though). I took advantage of the fact that prime day was right before my birthday lol & Best of luck with the upcoming training!

@@SolariaLoranala thank you, and very cool! Equipment buddies. Haha. I won’t be taking that training after all but I’ll be looking for something else to take.

Right on! Thanks for The encouragement. Best of luck in your journey as well. There’s so much to learn and that’s why I figured I’d leave a trail of what I’m learning along the way to help anyone else in my same position.
