This made me sad as well, because your love of the area has shown through in all of your videos. It is like saying goodbye to a close friend. We also fell in love with NH. We've really enjoyed all of your videos, and we hope you can find another special place to explore near your new home. We wish all the best for you and your family! Thank you for all of the videos! Take care, Mark.

Thank you SO MUCH! It's said to say goodbye, but we can always come back for a vacation. It won't be the same as deciding on Friday night to drive up the next day because the weather looks good, but I'm sure (and hope) we'd come back. And, in some ways it might be more special because it's not something we see on a regular basis and take for granted. I know we'll find new places to explore and build new memories, and I'm excited about the possibility of sharing those on KZbin too. We're heading to Florida and have family there, and ever since we first visited, I said I would love to live there - yes, even with the hurricanes. You just have to know what could happen and be safe. When I was younger, I never understood why people would spend summers in one place and winters in another, but now I totally get it. We're not ready to retire yet, but maybe when that time comes, we'll be able to get a place in NH so we can have the best of both worlds. Than you again!

I wanted to add that I love the name of your channel. You can learn so much just by observing things in your own backyard. It might be weird, but I love squirrels. We had a squirrel that used to come to our house for a couple years every time we went outside. We called him Jimmy, and he had an innate sense of knowing when we'd be outside. If my son was working on a car, and we were out there for awhile, Jimmy would plop down on our steps or lay down in the shade and watch us. We never petted him or anything like that, but for whatever reason he felt comfortable hanging out around us, and we learned so much by watching him. He instinctively knew when a hawk was flying overhead and would totally change his behavior. Sometimes he'd hide in the bushes, and other times he'd lay down on our gray steps (not sure how he knew they were gray) and flatten himself out like a pancake so he was camouflaged and less visible. It was fascinating to watch. It made me appreciate squirrels and want to learn more about them. Unfortunately, Jimmy hasn't been around since winter, but we're hoping he met a friend and they're off playing together in another neighborhood.

Good luck with everything! I am sure I am not the only one who hopes that wherever you're going, you are still taking your Waverunners with you!

Thank you so much! We're definitely not leaving KZbin. Just going to be in a new area where can, hopefully, use our WaveRunners any month of the year.

Obviously I don’t know your personal circumstances, but there has to be a time when you can make it back? Even for a quick vacation? Also, can you recommend a place to stay on the lake? I’d love to take my family and see it for myself. Your videos have me sold on making a trip. Thanks

Thank you so much for the thoughts. I think you would definitely love it, especially if you enjoy the outdoors and a laid back style vacation. We could definitely take a vacation there, and I like to hope that we'll visit again. We just wouldn't be able to go multiple times a year and do the quick, last minute trips where we decide to head up the night before. I know we'll make new memories when we move, but to me, NH is perfect - well, maybe with a bit less snow and cold. That's why, when I made my video of the area, I called it, "Lake Winnipesaukee - Is it Heaven?" because that's what it seemed like to me. My family loves the area too, but they really don't like winter and say that NH will basically be CT but colder and snowier.

@@MarkDHall totally understandable, Mark. If I was to visit, can you recommend a certain spot to stay?

@@kemicalx17 We like The Inn at Mill Falls properties in Meredith. They have four different hotels, with various prices, you can use the facilities at all of them, no matter which one you stay at. Unfortunately, they've gotten pretty expensive and have stayed at the Bay Top Motel in Laconia too. The owner is super friendly. The rooms are great, and they have a pool and hot tub. The only downside is, you have to drive to wherever you want to go, whereas with The Inn properties, you can park your car and walk to almost everything in Meredith. You still have to drive if you want to go to Weirs Beach or other areas. I'd also check out Wolfeboro. This is an amazing town with a great downtown. They have beautiful docks to watch boats, and lots of shops and restaurants. Quick unrelated question. If I remember, I think you said people meet somewhere near 384. Do they still do that? I would love to see an old friend from the 90's that I heard is still around. His name is Dick, and he had a couple Roadrunners. He used to have a 1968 bright green one, but I heard he has a super fast black one now. There was another guy, Teddy, who had a 1970 Nova that was super fast. DIck had a brother, who was a pastor, and he passed away a few years ago. I would love to way hi to him if he's still around.

Mark, we enjoy watching your channel and moved to Meredith a couple years ago. I’m pretty sure we found the channel while searching for videos about Winnipesaukee and yours are the best! Thanks to you, we learned we could take the boat through Sally’s Gut! It is very special living here are we are lucky we can, with our remote jobs. That said, I bet you’ll have so much fun exploring FL. We will look forward to seeing where the waters take you next! Wishing you all the best! We’ll be looking forward to your new videos ❤
