I give Marie as long as it takes her to realize basically zero people in England are invested in her and her life compared to the hoards of chateau owners, goers and viewers looking at France right now. Not that I don't like Marie, but she seems like she's in a time of her life that she must go backward to go forward, given that she's stated her ultimate goal is to buy a chateau in France and have a well-known floristry business running out of it. I doubt she'll get invited to great houses every weekend for floristry and vlog content to grow her business while she's in England, at least not the way she has been in France. That's pretty much only available to her in France at the moment, seems perverse to leave clear paths of opportunity and customer familiarity in France if she's REALLY trying to grow her business and reach her goal. Oh well.

Knowing she is loved, is helping her in her decisions. It tells a lot about a person, when one can be so opinionated about someone else's life decisions. Yes! Paint walls before wallpapering. My parents went to remove the original wallpaper in their home only to find out that when someone built the house, they stuck the wallpaper straight to the drywall. Trust me, it does not remove easily without a layer of paint in between. The emotion in the kitchen was getting to me. Love the courtyard plants.

Same at one of my homes! It was terrible stripping wallpaper and also taking pieces of drywall along with it. It was noticeable in the resulting painted room, but only if one looked closely.

Takes a lot to strike out on one's own - Marie is brave as well as talented. She already has a following from her vlogs and from her being part of the Lalande household. If she wanted to, she could combine her skills and talents in a catering business with floral arrangements. She'll land on her feet. Stay tuned.
