💙 Goodbye to Ash | A Final Tribute 💙

As most of you know from watching my latest vlog, we had to say goodbye to our dog Ash at the beginning of June. We helped him battle cancer for 5 years, but unfortunately, the cancer won. One of the tumors ruptured at the end of May, and we had to make the difficult choice to put him down to end his pain. We had one final week to spoil him rotten, soak up all the cuddles, and allow family members to visit and say goodbye. This is the final footage I recorded of our sweet boy. Thank you for loving him and following his journey over all these years. Thank you for all of the kind words and support.

The day you bring your pup home is the happiest and the saddest because one day you will have to say goodbye. Thank you for letting us into your home to allow us to love your pups all these years. My heart breaks for all of you. You were loved, Ash 💔

Beautiful tribute of Ash. You could tell how much Ash was loved and he loved them! So glad the grandparents came to see their granddog as well as Jeff flying down to see him. From what you've shown of Ash all these past years I could see what a good boy Ash was. It's so hard to have to say goodbye and let your fur baby go but you know you'll see him again. He'll be waiting for you. You let him go with dignity and love. 🌈 I know you and Mike are still grieving and will for a long time. Give yourself grace and be gentle with your selves. The pain will lessen as time goes on but you'll never forget Ash. I've lost many fur babies in my life and I'll love and miss them for the rest of my life. You'll have your memories of Ash and all the good times you've had with him. Cherish them. Give hugs and kisses to Foster and Colby. They're grieving too. RIP sweet Ash. So glad all the family was able to visit and really glad the timing worked out for Jeff to be able to fly down for a day. We really lucked out there. Saying goodbye was the hardest part, and the first week without him was very hard and weird. It's getting a little easier with time as we adjust, and the fact that Colby and Foster have returned to normal helps a lot.

Thank you for sharing these moments, had to be incredibly emotional to edit this. Many years ago as a kiddo I had a dog, a poodle named fluffy. I can remember all the emotions when he had to be put to sleep. First time I saw my dad cry. I’ve been watching some of your old vlogs for the dogs and been getting some Ash therapy. Such a beautiful tribute to an amazing dog! I was crying from the start so i can only imagine how hard it was for you and Mike to go through this and then for you to edit and share this vlog. You can tell how much he was loved and much he loved you! I loved how animated he was when your folks arrived, he was clearly very happy to see them. Loosing a dog is like losing your soul we had a rottie for most if my childhood he got bone cancer he was out playing with my step siblings playing and he jumped off the porch and broke his leg we didnt know at the time his leg started to swell we finnaly took him to vet and did a scan he had bine cancer that spread to his lungs my mom wanted to keep him till Christmas the pain just got so bad then medicine the vet gave us wasnt helping at all and screaming at night ik it sounds like we didnt care about him we just didnt know what to do that dog was friendly with everyone he went everywhere with us he didnt care who you were he had pulvo a couple times but we saved him he had puppies but they also had pulvo but we couldnt save them he was good with dogs and children i miss that dog so freaking much we had him from 2008 to 2018 teachers were giving me a hard time i was look we just made the decision to have our dog be put down they wernt getting it I missed two days of school cause i just couldn't go
