This was such a nice generation of consoles from Nintendo. Probably the most creative/experimental/artistic one. There were many things you didn't talk about here, but yes, the loss of online support for these systems will make them appear much less interesting than orginially imagined. They were designed with the internet connectivity in mind. :)
