@ShinigamYpn4 жыл бұрын
@@tarkenton3895 nope, Strandberg. Nobody in Europe wants to deal with Kiesels, especially in the last year or two with their quality hit and miss etc. Strandberg is Swedish based, so imports etc are much easier for David to handle (he lives in Serbia, and fucked up taxes / import duties etc for everything coming inside, especially if it comes from US). Also, Ola Strandberg is such a nice guy, I totally see him vibing together with David.

@@ObsydianX they've been known to have quite a few customer service issues, blaming customers for their mess ups, straight up wonky construction on new models, quality control issues, delaying builds by taking parts from nearly completed guitars so they have what they need for NAMM displays, etc. i've read many customer horror stories. ever since the name switch a few years ago and jeff became the poster boy. i personally wouldnt give them my money but thats just me. i'm not saying they can't make a nice guitar, but i wouldnt take the chance. dont believe me? google it
@daeerion4 жыл бұрын
@@littleredguitars2 Yup, 100% right, I've known a few of those cases of people getting burned by Kiesel. Sure, they can make some nice guitars sometimes, but they have a tendency to screw things (and people) up far more often than I'd be comfortable with. I just hope David gets some nice ones because he deserves them, but personally I have zero respect for Kiesel guitars as a company and I'd never give them a penny. So yeah, I get why David is switching up, totally understandable, but that doesn't make it any less sad for me, especially when he's had such unique and recognizeable guitars for so long.

Naaa this can't be real ... As I've been watching all the live videos of yours (in KZbin) once you start playing in all those guitar conversations(exploration of your feelings is how Plini and Aaron Marshal describing it) this Wood Guerilla prototype with the passive EMGs is totally overcoming the whole stage ... It have your tone print but also it have its own uniqueness which I doubt you'll be able to achieve with anything else in the world ... Kiesel ...??? I remember when I first saw Carvin guitars catalogue (of my dad) back in 1988 (I was 5 year old) ... I've been watching it as it was my first encounter of seeing cocky electric guitars (after I tried Carvin guitars in 1992 I was very disappointed though... Hope this is not the case with Kiesel but I doubt) until I saw Ibanez catalogue one week later in this same 1988 and tried out JEM at 1989 ... So I'm very excited to see and hear new stuff from you David and really hope the Kiesel will be better at least in post production as what I saw in FB (with the Kiesel) didn't impressed me so much from the same that you played many years ago on the double necked black W. Guerilla ...
