AI for your e-Ink tablet. Probably good to also look up ebook info for a book you are reading. Nice to have the Kindle to get your Amazon books (plus in color that you don't get on the Amazon Kindle devices). The extreme scrolling looks nice but what kind of hit does it take on the battery?

I love the color e-ink. More interesting on reading magazines or manga. The colorful note taking is the best thing to have on e note plus the document scanner to consider. 👍👍👍

Well could be a smart move from bigme to do this because the Boox Tab Ultra C take a big part of the color ink market in 10.3 inch (now we have other brand in the game) but for who buy the original one is like "oh look this, the device you buy from me at 699, now you can have it for 499 without almost any drawback" because in a eink tablet normally usea 1 app at time and with the SD slot the internal storage is not so important. That been said, maybe they sell now more of this devices but, still for only 100 more, Onyx offers doble storage, dedicated GPU for better performance, faster CPU and better software (more refined), so I think still for the most of the people in this tech (niche) will prefer expend the extra 100usd and go ahead with Onyx.

in my country indonesia onyx is still number one choice for reader. hope bigme can enter market here so we can try to use this device. bigme looks good. if you can compare with onyx, i'll glad to watch it

I think if you're in a meeting and there's a board/screen that everyone is looking at while taking notes or anything, you can use the laser pointer to easily point out what you're asking/talking about. Makes a lot of sense actually. :)

Looks like a nice device. My questions are: using split-screen mode, can you display an e-book and notebook side-by-side? Can you drag and drop text and/or images from the ebook into the notebook? Can you write directly on the page of any book...kindle book, or any epub book?

Do you know if they'll have a version with more RAM and a better CPU soon? Cause if we are gonna use this as an "e-ink tablet" instead of "e-reader", it is expected to run multiple apps at the same time. e.g, if I want to run vscode on it, I'll need Termux, code-server, a browser, and maybe a few more processes from VScode plugins. I'm not sure even the "classic" version with 6G ram can handle it.

China is a completely different world than not-China. If you look at ebook readers in general, a lot of them have built in 4G antennas just because of the way the infrastructure is over there
