Goodfellas is a movie where the story revolves around vulgar truck thieves and cold-blooded thugs. Goodfellas is a movie about the mafia and their dirty criminal way of operating on the streets. The Godfather I and II is not a movie where the mafia is the main theme. *Goodfellas is a movie about the mafia.* The Godfather II is not a movie about the mafia.

@@capitanfuturo594 Your mother clearly raised a moron! The Godfather flicks are absolutely about the Mafia and the toll that "The Life" takes on a man as he rises through the ranks. The personal sacrifices that one has to make, or rather has imposed upon him, as a result of many of the decisions he had to make on behalf of the family and it's interest. Goodfellas is a fantastic film for sure but the Godfather, particularly Part II, are the DEFINITIVE films of the genre.
