Exactly one year ago I saw your first lesson. I became a soldier against "garbage". Thanks Stewart. I reduced my handicap by 5 strokes. Looking forward to single handicap in the next few weeks. Time for a beer together my friend. All the best from Germany. Thomas

I can’t seem to actually get the club going staying high and going forwards with pressure down. That’s what I’m trying to do and what I feel but the downward pressure lowers the handle much earlier. I think. What am I doing wrong?

This is so true. I bet everyone of us has thought at sometime, Oh that was a good swing and then realised it was because we were in good balance and posture. Very important point. That's Good Coaching 👏👏

Wow. This little toe and heel adjustment. I didn't even really realise, I always off balance occasionally trying to form the body angle posture. Gonna try out. Thanks...

......great video Stu. Reinforces exactly what I've been working on. Watched the replay of the Monday live session, great show. I just hope Simon's head doesn't explode with all that info he's got stashed in there. Man, if i ever trusted one man with a fitting, it would definitely be him.....thanks ⛳🍺

I’m struggling with this one. I have a limited of range of rotation in my hips, and I discovered that to keep the hand path down and in i was keeping my left knee bent and letting my left foot spin on the balls of my toes. very hard to get any side bend from there. I am trying to get my left foot spin on the heel, but if my shoe has any grip it doesn’t work that well.
@marcelguldemond25233 ай бұрын
Oh wait, I just realized that if I flare my left foot out about 30* or so at set up, it might be easier to get my weight back on the heel through the swing. I will try that.
@GoodGolfCoaching3 ай бұрын
Take it slowly; build the mobility and you will get there. Good luck!
@marcelguldemond25233 ай бұрын
@@GoodGolfCoaching thanks, I am working on it and it’s better than it was. Unfortunately I actually have impinged hips, verified by X-ray, so I’m not sure how much more mobility I can get. I will try the flared foot as well and see if it helps free up my follow through.

Stu I appreciate this lesson and everything you put out. On my backswing, when push down, I feel like this really helps me with the plane and shows me the line that the club should be moving on in to in. One thing I struggle with is after waist high on the back swing…how high my hands need to be. If I push down, I don’t feel like I can get my hands very high with out lifting. Is this the feel? I mean, I really haven’t noticed a decrease in club speed or power, just that my hands feel much lower in the entire swing. Maybe the appearance of the club being high in the back swing is the proper 90 degree body and arm angle?
@GoodGolfCoaching3 ай бұрын
More spine angle at address will make you feel a lower arm plane; if you’re sticking it well after the change, sounds like it was the right one to make! Best wishes Stu 😊

Very good (again Stu). Have you considered getting Kate to provide input into vids. Eg I know countless golfers who get buried in left leg and can’t clear left hip. Sure Kate could add mobility and strength exercises

Everyone talks about the first move being from right heel to left toe in down swing before rotating. Are you making the point that people make the mistake of never rotating the hips to left heel?😊
@GoodGolfCoaching3 ай бұрын
Yes that’s exactly right 😊
