My bestfriends mom grew up in England (not sure which part) and it’s funny watching them have a conversation because they’ll both go in and out of the accent. My friend has no British accent in daily speech and lived in the US her entire life but she does slip into it when speaking with someone with a British accent.

I think we all like a video where we get to hear some perspective from the partners of plant enthusiasts. The shower situation is the most relatable annoyance. I had to make a rule for myself that I always put plants back before bed, knowing full well my husband likes to shower in the morning and that is the most respectful and loving of efforts. Plants take up space and when taken care of, only grow bigger. Our partners compromise to cede that space (especially if they don't share the same fervor for a planty lifestyle) should be equaled by our making space for their passions and minimizing inconveniences our 'hobby' may bring to the running of our households. At least, this is how I feel after over a decade of cultivating my own personal green sanctuary and living with my husband who I met long before I began my journey to become the plant obsessive I am today. When he said he had a fling with pepper plants... just charming.
