Thanks Mike! I was pleased you eliminated most of the background music in this one. It is always an annoying distraction. I missed your conversational commentary in this one, but I know it would at least double your prep time to dub it with comments afterwards when you are editing. You have to admire the craftsmanship, artistry and engineering in these low riders, not to mention the substantial financial investment, but I would never want or aspire to own one because most are way too ornate and mechanically complicated for me. Also, I understand there is a significant cultural significance to this style, with which I do not naturally identify. However, always nice to observe variety now and again. Your videos are invaluable to me.

I prefer doing the commentary as I'm filming as I feel doing it after when editing seems less genuine. it's really a personal preference. Can't really do a commentary with the level of noise in that hall. I do realize that my viewers still want to see the lowrider display, so I shot it and posted it this way.

when you do swapmeet videos you do a lot of commentary, you should do the same when there is music. that should save you from getting the copyright strike

I tried that on early videos. It does help, but it'll still flag for copyright sometimes. I would keep talking about whatever popped in my head in those videos, which some folks didn't like since it was often off topic.

Social media's are petty.. video taping with music in the background is unavoidable. Most if not all is music already bought by someone and paid their royalties. Some is streaming... efem.. I have tons of music in vinyl , CD etc that I've paid for.. I upload videos with music.. ifbthey don't like it.. their welcome to buy it back

Unfortunately KZbin gave record companies all the power when it comes to music in the background of videos. They really should have a box to check if music is unintentional and not added by the person posting the video.

Nothing against Mike and the channel but yeah,, literally every car video on KZbin oh the music, the music,,,you are out in public recording an event. Not like we haven't heard them played a million times already.enough!😂
