Coming back to this I see why people are uneasy with Silas character, but I feel like that’s exactly the point. I love the psychology and triangulation between specific characters and find myself from the viewpoint of the listeners character feeling defensive, but also now cautious of Alara and it’s fun to form opinions as if I were really myself there. Aurelia has a sort of immaturity about her, but you could see why it would be easy to find her endearing too. Lucian’s dynamic with her is so clear and interesting and you can feel right away how calculating Morgana and Mirabelle are. Sebastian’s character seems trustworthy from the perspective of someone that does care about knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I find that I would listen to what Lysandra has to say and it feels like there’s something that you could learn from each character. I can feel how easy it could be to “pick a side”. This literally feels like a novel come to life!

Theory: Lysandra Sable cannot actually see visions Lady Alara told listeners how Lysandra warned her about a betrayal which was correct ( 6:48 ), and that we should pay close attention to her. I think the person who betrayed Lady Alara was Countess Morgana, who wanted a seat at the council. Morgana told her plans to Lady Lysandra ( 1:22:32 ), Lysandra got mad that Morgana ignored her. So, she told Lady Alara her plans to seem that she had a vision, however, it was because she was told by Lady Morgana. Most likely the reason she came to the gathering in the first place is to lure the listener to trust her vague "visions".

Yknow, it’s pretty incredible how much I enjoyed this despite feeling incredibly uncomfortable with every interaction in this video. Just a whole lot of “oh that’s creepy! Oh that’s manipulative! Same here. Mirabella and the Valois's are 100% Toreador, Lysandra definitely Malkavian (a quite lucid one anyway), Morgana is a textbook Ventrue, Silas could be a Ravnos or Gangrel. Greyhaven is very much a Tremere. For our Sire though I'm not quite sure. Could be Toreador, Salubri Salombra

@@SirFooplesTheThird Lucian Valois struck me more as a Ministry. Silas struck me as either Ventrue or Lasombra depending on what you can see in a mirror. The "making people do and belive things" is textbook Dominate and neither Gangrel or Ravnos have those As to our sire, can't be Salubri. No thrid eye on her head. But hear me out: She is old, not into politics, only embraces special people (as everyone tells us), has morbid tentencies, respects learning, believes in survival of the fittest (leaves us alone on in a den of predators) -> Gangrel OR Tzimisce

Theory: the reason why our character's turning has "made waves" in the upper echelons of vampire society is because our character was born from a family of hunters. Our character wanted nothing to do with the family business, and was content living a simple life, helping normal people on a daily basis, until Ilaria found us at the train station.
