Oh my goodness, I’m that much more excited to be using my iPad for school. I personally use the cornell note style for my notes, I had no idea there would be a template! This was a very thorough video, I’m glad I came across it.

I have the Ipad Pro 2020 12.9 and an Apple Pencil 2, and I use Goodnotes and my handwriting has improved immensely! I love the layout and it’s amazing. Also, wow! I want to become a surgeon in medical school, I can’t believe someone else is doing it too!

Really good info, thanks! I did have the occasional problem figuring out which icon/button you were talking about though. I think it was because you use the same color - red - for drawing attention to the topic/item as everything else on the page. I found my eyes wandering to the toolbar, but not knowing whether to look left or right! Maybe it's just me, and it isn't a big deal, but a different color would have helped.

Just came across your channel, How to import powerpoint slide into Goodnotes ?? Nobody shows that and directly explains by notes using pencil on top of slides. Am new to apple devices and products.

Hey Ramesh, great question! So to import PowerPoint slides from the internet you select the download button and then select the "more" icon (icon looks like three dots) then scroll down and select "Copy to PowerPoint," which should prompt your PowerPoint app to open the slides automatically. Once in the PowerPoint app, select the File dropdown menu and then select "Send a Copy" and for "Format" select PDF then "Send with Another App" which you then (finally) select GoodNotes. This may seem like a convoluted way of doing this, but it's quite fast and this ensures that the PowerPoint slides are not distorted when you import them to GoodNotes. The only caveat is that you do need the PowerPoint app on your iPad, but Microsoft applications are often free with your University email or offered at discounted rates for students at the Apple Store.
