two things, yes speed up does speed time, good for if you want a certain pokemon thats only found at certain times of day. But also with the rebattle system, most trainers can be rebattled, and some trade. But if you rebattle trainers a lot, there pokemon can get stronger and be higher level after a few battles. Not only that, but some trainers pokemon will evolve after enough battles. There was a trainer that had a golbat poliwrath fusion, and i used her to grind levels for my weaker mons, and after a few battles i noticed the level jumped and eventually it turned to a crobat poliwrath. really cool thing some people will miss

you can unlock an exp all later on, but not until Fuschia. and the normal exp share hold item isn't until Saffron. there's an npc upstairs in later centers that lets you change some settings, but you can't change game modes without starting a new save.

I appreciate the Exp. Share, especially for a game like this. It allows you to raise up as many pokemon as possible, as fast as possible. But also, grinding videos work for me, but probably label them separately. You two can just shoot the shit while you do. Remember to talk to NPCs so they can give you stuff, like money or Pyukumukus.

We definitely need to see the grinding because you may come across fused pokémon that you'll never see in the regular game so the reaction will be worth it remember there's over 174, 000 combinations. You're almost always going to have a new experience every encounter

The game does nothing to hint or otherwise suggest it, but there is a hidden area on Route 1 with some rarer pokemon. It can only be accessed by defeating your rival in the area to the left of Viridian City, before you take on the 1st Gym.

I think the fusions evolve every time it fulfills one half's condition, like Pidle's weedle half evolved, and turned into Piduna. I think it will evolve when they hit beedrill's level, and again at pidgeotto and pidgeot, resulting into a fusion of whatever the other half is at at the time. Also just noticed the 2v2 and 3v3 option in the options, hope they mess around with that some.

My go to for early money was to harvest as many mushrooms as possible, sell them all, then go back and harvest them again. It doesn't get you a lot, but it is an infinite source of wealth early game.
