I used to have a Japanese LP addiction. If I walked into a pawn shop or second hand guitar store and saw one for $100 or less it came home with me. My Electra is the only one from that era I still have. Love that Workingman X290. $80 and still going strong.

I picked up a lawsuit Les Paul custom once from Goodwill. This thing was begging to be rescued. I had to upgrade the tuners and saddles, replace the bridge pick up. After a little tlc it played 18:03 great. Obviously, not as good as my Gibson but a decent player for jamming with friends.🎸🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🍻🇨🇦

I just happened to see this thumbnail in my feed, and had to watch it. I was so happy to hear that I can still submit my video for the collaboration, I thought for sure it would be over and done with by now. So I stopped jamming with it about a week ago. Now I can get busy filming it and get it to you as soon as I can. Take care, I want to take a road trip down your way and visit the store and jam soon… we’ll see what happens.

Bought a Mitchell HD400 at a thrift store, think zimm did a video on one like it, a green one. Had no way of checking with an amp at thrift store, middle pickup wasn't hooked up and the other pickups were just thrown in...got some cheap pickups on Amazon and set it up. , pretty decent guitar, but I probably paid to much for it. Great video as always !!

🤟😁👍Maeari made upright and grand pianos, acoustic and electric guitars, possibly other things primarily in South Korea. The name Maeari means "echo". Considered good quality instruments in Korea, the grand pianos aren't inexpensive by any means. Nice find.👍

Thanks Dane. Great video and great salvation. I love those japanese lawsuit era guitars with the open book headstock. I have a couple of those but custom models and they play great. Cool find.

Michigan here... like watching your videos.. I have an old Indiana strat style guitar that someone put steel frets on.. I have the fret board leveled and the frets leveled but every time I string it up there seems to be a high fret issue at the 14th and 15th fret. I've gone back and filed the frets down multiple times but the buzzing still comes back.. Is there a way to raise the bridge to adjust the angle the strings travel up to the bridge? The only way I have been able to get the buzz to go away is to raise the action to over 2mm at the 12th.. All the other guitars I have had the action was 1.25 to 1.5. I just don't understand how a level neck and level frets can still buzz. I did replace the original bridge with a Wilkinson bridge. The old bridge was rusted and the tremolo bar was broken off in the bar. Could the new bridge be a mm or two thinner at the base.

I know what your saying about troglys guitar show i watch it every night. super high end guitars that most people cant afford on a good day. this guitar is on the other end of the spectrum. nver ever seen pickups like this before in my life. i am a gibson les paul player and have a epiphone les paul as well. good job fixing this guitar. it doesnt sound good at all sorry to say. love you show though and what you do. glad your business is doing good. you really pickup alot a nice guitars in the affordable price range.

i didn't notice the Hummingbird video, i would've watched it. the 3 guitar channels that i watch most are twoodfrd, guitologist, and this one. i watch some other ones and there's a few of the more popular ones that i've unsubscribed from, they just became annoying to me.
