Have you ever seen the video that shows all the 1970 album covers that used that style of wicker chair? It's an embarrassing amount. Was it the same chair? 😄 You would think they would want an original album cover to set themselves apart. If I didn't have 4 cats, I would love one of those chairs.

That tulip candle holder is from Partylite. They were huge in their day & very pricey! They had the absolute best candles! No drip, clean burn, lovely colors and designs. As you can see you can insert that tulip into a plain candleholder and convert it to a votive holder. Kind of cool idea actually.

That pitcher and bowl set is so cute. When they were "in fashion" you could get a replica stand to display it but most of us just put it on the dresser in the guest room; so you're right on track with your idea of the guest room. We also displayed flowers just like you mentioned. 💐🌻⚘

The "carved wood piece" are the legs to a round table top. The table top has a fitting, made of wood, which is attached to the round top and the legs when opened at just the right angle, they fit nicely into the table top.... I have 2 of them........👋🏼👵🏼

I do believe that the 1st piece is a plant stand. My mom had one like that but it didn't fold. Carved wood was big for a bit in the late 70s but it didn't last long. Lol That easel was cool especially since the base was wider/deeper in order to display thicker items, like books.
@CandyThriftsКүн бұрын
@@patpeters6331 oh really?! I still love the look of it. I guess I just have to keep water away from it. I have a piece that is a recipe book holder that matches it and it has some water damage.

@@Rozenblad I’m glad you enjoy them! Yes, I do like getting out there and looking. I don’t buy much but it’s fun. I also think it takes me back to my childhood when my parents would go antiquing. My father passed away suddenly when I was younger and we lost everything. I don’t ever buy much but I do try and hunt down little things that remind me of my happy childhood. Definitely therapeutic 🤍🤗

The carved wood only needs a small top it does look like a plant stand.
