GOODWOOD FOS 4 DAY VLOG! Jake Hill Racing

Come along with me for one of my favourite events of the year, Goodwood festival of speed 2024 where I was lucky enough to drive both the Nissan Skyline Calsonic and the 1970 Mk1 Shadow CanAm car, but also everything else, seeing some amazing cars, friends, and just a walkthrough of my four days at the event!

Just wow! As a driver (not trying to compare my skills with yours 😳) I’m neat and tidy on track but as a spectator I love seeing cars with way too much power being grabbed by the scruff of the neck in a way I don’t have the skills to do. The Skyline is superb but watching (and hearing) the Shadow move around as you fight to keep it pointing in the right direction is an absolute joy. Please keep doing what you’re doing 👍

Love this, I was at the Saturday FoS and went on a track day with Jake in an M3 day at silverstone, bet him £50 he couldnt make me scream when he took control and did a race lap, didnt scream but think wet myself! LOL great to see your name on the Skyline too when I was walking the pits, didnt manage to get to see the man himself tho

Nice video Jake. Glad you gave the Shadow Can-Am car some beans. It's got to be out of any driver's comfort zone but if they could do it in period you can do it now!

Very much out of the comfort zone simply because of the pedal set up but still fantastic to give it a good go in a legendary Shadow

Hello Jake. Could you do a video to show what fitness levels are needed to be a top level racing driver? All we see is you driving etc but non of the effort etc needed to stay at top level motorsport. Would make a good video to show all the background life. 👍
