8:05 trout do eat crawfish. My dad lost what would've been the biggest trout of his life on a crawfish imitation. He still has the lure, and has caught smaller trout and bass on it.

I've had other BPM baits kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

That is milt and trout spawn in the spring so if you squeeze them when they are ready to spawn they will eject milt or in the case of the female, eggs. That's how they spawn them in the hatchery.

I've been trying to learn how to cast a spinning setup properly. I've done the whole "pinch the line against the blank and flip the bail" thing my whole life. Then I watched a 5 year old video by Adam Royter of Berkley Fishing ANZ about casting accuracy with a spinning rod. He shows how you should be putting your finger on the lip of the spool instead of against the blank, then you can control each loop of line that comes off as well as easily feather the line for a much more silent entry. I'm sure that man would argue that spinning rods are less accurate.

Usually when river fishing the trout like to hold close to the bottom of the river so when using a spinner of spoon u should try to let it sink before you start retrieving it.

Hey 1rod I have a suggestion for trout fishing if you have not already tried it. it is called trout magnet and they work very well when I use them I catch a fish one hundred percent of the time it is even multi species so you could use it for bass, crappie, panfish, and even some smaller salmon they work great and I would love to see a video with you using one
