Bid strategy seems pricier that a plan set at $7 per day, for example. Can you help me understand why a business would want to use bid strategy over a well defined plan?

Bid strategy affects how Google determines your cost per click (CPC) rather than your daily budget. For example, with a strategy like 'Maximize Conversions,' Google's AI adjusts bids in real time to target users who are more likely to convert, rather than simply focusing on the lowest CPC. By leveraging Google's extensive data on user behavior, AI-driven bid strategies can significantly improve lead quality and sales outcomes compared to manual or basic bidding approaches.

@@TradesmanDigitalMarketingthank you for responding. I’m trying to help a friend. I don’t think her ROI with the bid strategy is paying off. I use smart ads and have much higher impressions, clicks and conversions for a significantly lower cpc. We are in the same industry & salon (targeting the same demographic, but different services), so we’re trying to determine why her Ads manager used the bid strategy.

Thank you for this very useful video! Question: you say we need 20-30 conversions in maximize clicks before we switch over to maximize conversions. Do we need to get the 20-30 conversions WITHIN A MONTH, are can it take longer? I only get about 10 conversions a month in max clicks. Would you recommend staying in max clicks or wait a couple of months and then switch?

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Can you please make a video on how to implement google ads consent mode v2 via Google Tag Manager when you already have setup conversion events(phone, form tracking) for landing page via google tag manager?
